Jeremy and Duade in 1 video! I loved the interview and have learned so much from both of these wonderful teachers. I don’t know if they understand how much impact that they have on the audience. I can only guess at how much time it would take to put this kind of content together. My photography has improved by following both of these pro’s. I’m grateful to see these 2 positive people together! Nice work!
Duade, I love the fact that you speak the truth, and the fact that you are so happy doing what you do. You are the best. Thank you for all of your photography help !!!
Always good to see Duade, his views and the way he explains and gets his message across is really refreshing and for the average person easily understood
A senior professional gofer was asked when he was going to retire. He replied, “retire from what? All I do is golf and fish”! He obviously found his passion. Passion keeps us alive.
@19:00 When I use lightweight gear I enjoy fun of it not burdening me and all the benefits of mobility. When I use heavyweight gear I enjoy the challenge of the effort and the quality of results. Either way, you can enjoy something. This is a win-win :D
I respect the work you both do, and I have long subscribed to both channels. But I have to admit that I prefer seeing your images to gear talk. Most of us can't upgrade our gear every few months, and I think few of us are using our current gear optimally! Keep those images coming 😊
Thank you! Appreciate the encouragement :) For me, the reason why I talk about gear isn't because I'm constantly wanting to buy new gear, rather that when I finally do get to, I can make informed decisions, so hopefully that comes across. Thanks for your feedback though! Noted.
I am starting in bird photography, I am from Costa Rica and as it all started it was a similar experience to yours I went for a walk one day and a Lesson's Motmot arrived and I was able to take the photos and I liked being able to capture those moments hahaha, Saludos desde Costa Rica pura vida!!
I love Duade's content on YT, he is very down to earth, loves what he does, and tells you yes or no. I agree a zoom is more useful then a prime I have was considering an older Sigma 800mm F/5.6 or a 300-800mm F/7.1, both are too heavy to hand hold both have slower auto focus but if I bought into one of these I would pay the extra $200 for the 300-800.
You guys are both awesome dudes. This was a great podcast with interesting topics, thanks for sharing. Keep up the inspirational work guys your appreciated.
Very much enjoyed your conversation. I really appreciate you articulating why you do photography and in particular shoot birds. For the longest time I viewed this "hobby" as being rather trivial but after listening to you enumerate the benefits and rewards that are received from doing this activity it has enlightened me to why I enjoy this innocent little hobby so much. Thanks again!!
Great job with this interview Jeremy! www.youtube.com/@Duade is one of my favorite Wildlife TH-cam creators. It great to see you both together. Keep up the great work.
Great interview! You asked many questions that I would personally want to ask him, for me it was interesting to know that he still loves the big prime lenses even though he has primarily been using zoom lenses recently. For the price of the big lenses I guess you would want your jaw to drop from the image quality!
Hey Jeremy, great Video!! I know Duades channel too and i like him a lot! To his thoughts about mental health i must think about matthew 6,26. 😊 By the way, I started my own little TH-camchannel. Greetings, Andrew from Germany!! 😉
I don't like large and heavy cameras, so I will never buy Z8. But if they put Z8 guts into Z6iii then it becomes a very appealing proposition. Another big problem with Nikon bodies, including the most expensive ones is lack of customizability. It's annoying that to change Auto ISO settings you have to dive into menu. Why did they put the useless dedicated ISO button if you can't change it to min SS in auto ISO? -- makes zero sense. Sony did a great job with custom button assignments.
It's tough to answer the "what is best" question. I think you should ask: "What would you spend YOUR OWN MONEY on today if you had no equipment or affiliation with any brand."
Great interview with one of my favourite you-tubers in Australia. Even though the Z8 looks to be a great camera, i would not pick it as a winner since it had from memory two recalls, so there maybe some hidden other problems yet to be seen.
Great video mate, thanks for having me, it was a lot of fun, Cheers, Duade
Thanks again for coming on! 🙌🏻☺️
Duade has one of my favorite YT channels, he is a legend
