    Comparing Hyryder Neodrive Automatic Vs Hyryder eCVT strong hybrid automatic , the difference is anly around +2L which you can recover within 5 years with additional 5+ Km more mileage and you get a refined driving experience!! I have booked Hyryder Strong Hybrid eCVT.

    Great review as always 👍... waiting for Mild hybrid Manual review (mileage, performance)...355 litres boot is vey less as compared to Creta's 450lts boot if im correct..pls reply

      Yes you are right. Creta is 433 litres. Even Taigun gets 385 litres. But it should still take a good number of bags. On the hybrid slightly less of course.

    How does the ac compressor work when the engine is shut off and coasting on the batteries? Can u pls test this as well?

      We had a pretty warm day and so the AC load wasn’t taxing on the EV only mode. It keeps running regardless of which unit is powering the wheels.

    Will there be a chance of low charge problem/ longevity problem with the hybrid battery in case of long idle span just like the normal battery?

    Why don't auto manufactures just mount the spare wheel on the rear door, like in the ecosport, and use the space saved up for putting in the battery without sacrificing boot space, having a step in the boot is weird

      The engineering cost is higher. the door needs to be able to take that weight and also not sag over time. Hence diff hinges. Plus then cannot be a hatch... and becomes a side opening door, which consumers do not prefer. You can always have the battery in the floor pan. But since this is a derivative platform from Suzuki and not an original hybrid platform, that limitation of not wanting any re-engineering of the platform makes the boot the ideal solution.

    Great reviews and appreciate the cons also mentioned which was missed by other reviewers. Is it possible to drive the car only in the engine mode? Asking this question because battery performance is going to be hit and miss down the line.

      It is a system default anyway when the battery runs out of juice. Also when you accelerate hard, again the default is engine only. Unless there is some power left in the battery, in which case it will assist that acceleration.

    I regularly read ur reviews. I have a question i am planning to buy a car for my wife to pick and drop kids from school. And i have come across FORD ECOSPORTS. 2016 automatic 23 k kms done. Can u pls suggest that should i buy or not as ford is out of india and will it give me resale value later. Pls ur suggestion will help me

      Simple answer - its a good car and was well suited to India. And also well built. But after another 2/3 years its maintenance could pose a problem. But it was popular enough to have enough non brand workshops to be able to procure parts for a few years.

    Taken a test drive , all good for me , the growl sound after a few minutes gives headache and become tiresome. Toyota must work on this. Can accept all kind of noise but the Growl sound is irritating . At 100+ eg 111 the sound + wind noise + growl + electic motor whistling all together do not give any smile . Those who do not care of all these but only FE this is a good vehicle.

    Paid review- conveniently omitted cons.
    1. Sunroof cloth is very thin, in summer passengers will be roasted.
    2. Backseats under thigh Support is very bad, seats very hard and recline angle is very upright , problematic for longer journeys.
    Plastic quality is low and fit n finish issue in 16-20 lacs car. While all reviewers highlights these issues in tata mahindra cars, close their eyes while reviews maruti/toyota.

    This, along with Grand Vitara will eat up the market share in the segment. Creta, Seltos, Kushaq, Taigun offer so much less.

    Maruti and toyota are the biggest chutiyas of decade.
    Firstly in mild hybrid, they are offering 1.5L engine exactly same as brezza. Having same engine is not the problems. Problem is that they are charging higher price for same engine. Why??????? Grand vitara mild hybrid top variant cost 17 L exshowroom expected (hyryder mild hybrid top variant cost 17L exshow) whereas brezza zxi plus amt cost 13.8L exshowroom. Literally they are making indians chutiyas because they know indians are born chutiya.
    Now some morons will aruge that grand vitara is costlier than brezza despite same engine is due to big size. Literally .... Brezza height is more than GV.
    . Secondly strong hybrid of gv/hyryder have 115bhp powerand priced at 15.11L to 19L exshowroom. Literally creta offers same 115 bhp but starts at 10L exshowroom.
    Only fool will spend money on hyryder/grand vitara when they can easily save money by buying brezza and creta.
    Plus Grand vitara/ hyryder have very less bootspace and no headroom. plus battery in hybrid variant need to be replaced in 7 years or less.
    Biggest chutiyas are the one who buying these 3times overpriced cars.
