Good job! Had one of these (212) several years ago and sold it. Have a '71 112 w/46'' deck and a 110 w/38'' deck that was my Uncles. I like the 112's better, especially to mow on! Great video, btw.

How has this been doing? I’ve got a 210 that I may need to repower soon 😢. Have you ran it with a mowing deck?

I took the engine out for another project.
It has a 8hp Briggs on it now.
The 212cc is good enough to run a 42"deck if you don't mow at full speed.
I'm not Shure how you'd hook up the PTO clutch on it though.

Please drop a preditor ghost engine. It does 6000 rpm and has 10 hp

Nah he needs a 10hp Dsl. Predator is a good engine but he needs a 420. Thing is kinda underpowered.

Your rear axle bearings are screaming it should not be that loud. My 212 is quiet, & have a 210 that screams like that. Also if you put a bigger pulley on the engine, with a thinner belt you can get more speed. The stock is a 3/4 v belt, & when I went to a 1/2” I gained 3mph.
You need a 420 in it.

I was thinking something isn't right. It sounds worse in video than it does in person, but it's definitely loud.
next time I start it I'm going to bring it up and change the transmission oil. there's a chance it might not have any in it lol.

@@IMPRIOR87, I own 5 of these 2300s, 3 in tractors, 2 as spares, & both of my spare transmissions came from tractors that were worn out. They leaked a lot of oil, & probably kept having to fill them up.
The ones I’ve had that were rly bad I’d just add a better filler port to more easily fill it w oil.
I’ve only had 1 tractor that didn’t leak like crazy, & when I bought it 7yrs ago it had decent oil in it, I checked it 2yrs ago, & wasn’t milky so I left it. Probably need to change it out though next engine oil change.
Everything gets changed after 1yr or 6 months of heavy use.

I did some horse trading recently and ended up with the same year looking tractor you have there... Could you tell me what year that is:-)? Thank you
