It's different up here in Tennessee isn't it? Moved up to north middle Tennessee from Atlanta suburbs in January. Most lawn care guys around here are happy with 60$ man hour rate. It's pathetic because all of the clientele expect about the same. Equipment and materials are no cheaper here than Atlanta. Gas is the same. I was used to getting between 90-120$ an hour before. Yes.. my new and bigger Scag deck means that I can cut faster but all the properties are twice as big than in Atlanta suburbs 😂. Oh well I'm hanging in there and still giving out top dollar estimates and zeroing in on the best customers possible. When they want a cheaper rate I say OK just to fill up my route and if they complain about something I just let them know that they are getting the service they wanted to pay for. P.S. nice job on those hedges
That sucks losing a job without even trying lol. We both know cheap customers are nothing but a headache, quality looses out over $$ Nice work on the rest.
How many acres was that giant hill property? That sucks but probably for the best, she sounded like a headache anyways. Looked like it was a $55/cut to me 🍻 Great work out there, keep answering that phone and making that money 💰
Five acres for the hillside and another 1/4 acre where the house was located. Yeah, I probably didn't want her, you're correct. Funny, your price is what she agreed to with me
