  • 7M dancer Miranda Derrick, who’s at the heart of “Dancing for the Devil,” says she’s been receiving death threats because of the Netflix documentary about 7M Films, which some call the TikTok Dance Cult. It centers on talent management company 7M Films and the Shekinah Church. It includes interviews with former 7M clients who allege that both the company and church are a cult. Now, Derrick is rebutting the claims made about 7M Films founder Robert Shinn. Ashleigh Banfield talks about the controversy with Sarah Edmondson, host of the “A Little Bit Culty” podcast and who calls herself a NXIVM cult survivor.

      Matthew 7:15
      Jesus warns listeners to be aware of false prophets who may appear as sheep but are actually ravenous wolves. He says that people can identify false prophets by their fruit, similar to how a good tree produces good fruit and a bad tree produces bad fruit.
      Matthew 18:6-14: Says that it would be better for someone to be drowned in the sea than to lead a child who believes in God away from his teachings.
      Rom. 8 Verses 38 to 39[38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
      That also means that a cult leader doesn't have the power to separate a sinner saved by Grace from God's love.
      Mark 4:22
      "For there is nothing hidden, except that it should be made known; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light. Everything that is hidden will be seen. Everything that is secret will be known and come out to be seen".

      @@mistiemo1665 respectfully, if you read my post, it's about a personal relationship with God. I don't believe in secular religion. I don't believe in organized religion either. I'm suggesting that for people of faith they have a personal relationship with God. If you don't believe I'm cool with that. Here's my perspective: the God the Jews worshipped is the very same God Christian's worship. The Messiah was the Son of God the Jews were waiting for and they rejected him. There were those that believed in Jesus and they became the first 1st Century Christian's. The Muslims understand and believe in Abraham, read about the Kaaba in Mecca. The big box is what they believe to be built by Abraham as a first House of Worship. They call Abraham - Ibrahim and Isaac - Ismail for clarification. They believe Jesus Christ is a Prophet and they believe he is coming back for Judgement Day. Christian's believe Jesus Christ is the last prophet and the Muslims belive the Prophet Muhammad is the last Prophet and the Mormon's believe Joseph Smith their founder is a Prophet and the hierarchy is that Brigham Young and other leaders in the church are prophets. If they believe in Jesus Christ as God's Son and Christian's believe the same thing then you can appreciate all 3 major religions of the planet believe in God / Allah! For all practical reasons these are facts that some can see and others call it heresy. This is why we get to pick and choose! It's confusing yes. Yet Jesus said, if you have faith the size of a mustard grain you can move a mountain. Pick a faith that works for you and don't worry about what anyone else says OR leave organized religion alone and choose nothing, no one has a brick meant for your head.

She is gaslighting and pretend she is the victim she is not, and 7m I am very worried that he sexully abuses Miranda. This “leader” either uses them for sex or money that’s it. You also need to know in the USA, it’s entirely possible to be convicted and to go to jail and under conditions to have that cleaned. So it won’t come up if you apply for a job. So the only way to find out there is a record is if you know which place it was, and then you can look up court files there. As those won’t be erased.

      Consider not just believing Netflix documentaries;
      Consider the creator of this series along with Miranda’s family pitched it to NETFLIX. The creator has been in civil litigation for 2 years with SHINN and The Derricks being sued for defamation. Per open court records it would seem she is going to lose her case big time.
      Since they are in civil litigation with this creator, legally not a good idea to be in a documentary of the person you are suing. Knowing this, how unbiased do you think this series is? Why would Netflix knowingly allow a creator to put together a series knowing they are in civil litigation and it would be in the creators favor to defame, discredit, and destroy the people suing her?

Look at the lack of due diligence in Baby Reindeer which is now coming out to have had obvious lies. Also, Christians believe they have a personal relationship with God and can communicate with Him. Miranda is the most at risk as long she under shinn control , he sexually abuses every women he can, and takes all their money. For him or her to say that she is stalked, which you do know could be shinn himself, who is the only one who would lose out if she and all the other dancers leave. He doesn’t want that, and why he told them initially their family is dead. Just like Scientology does when a friend or family member doesn’t believe anymore, they need to cut them, why? God forbid they hear something else. When he started losing money, he instructed them to be in contact again with their family but still pretend they were unalive. You can hear his voice and what he says. Miranda isn’t at risk in the outside world. To be fair, we only see the side portrayed by the figures Netflix has put forth. A reasonable person could opine that; 1) Miranda's sister is the energy behind this negative attention, in part owing to issues with Miranda, or even jealousy; 2) 7M is a business and several of the ppl who were in the Netflix piece were more or less cast off by the company, maybe they weren't pulling their weight, or popular, or seeing the vision through; 3) It seems to me they are free to live and leave as they wish. If not mistaken, they live on their own, have their own transport, have full access to the outside world and can come and go as they please, it appears. Just not sure I see this in the way others do. Is there some odd and bizarre stuff, sure, but also, we have no idea how accurate those stories are and how they are embellished to push a shock value. I'm not convinced either way, notwithstanding the very serious sexual abuse allegations.
