I love this guy. That is the melody one had in my head for the last year. Something that is abstract yet has many pop or catchy qualities. I love those type of melodies and the bass is pumping a super catchy pop riff. Now to discuss that solo. I'll just say I'll go crazy if I try to learn it... wow, found my new favorite guitarist! Hahalol
This recording is from his instructional VHS tape from around 1987. His skill and career have grown massively over the last 35 years too. He’s been a dedicated teach too.
Mine might be either leave ozone alone or robo roo, although this one's great too. And the solo is great too, though that might usually be teh case with frank.
faster than an arrow has some great tidbits in it too especially the album end solo, little charmer is pretty cool too some how it seems like he got overlooked in those times...
This (or a very similar one with Gambale) was my all time favorite vhs tapes of that time. And I had Vinnie Moore, Paul Gilbert and the lots. And I'm Swedish so Yngwie of course!
Some of those signature sweep-picking licks fall under the "million notes per second" category. But unlike the 80's speed demons in Rock/Metal, the Jazz element makes it more melodic and harmonically complex.
Yes that shredding makes sense and its melodic its not just shredding for the sake of it like lets say malmsteen or michael angelo batio... Not that they are bad guitarists by far, but it isnt melodic and they do it just to show off.
@@emgexHow in the world is YJM not melodic? I can get it for Batio, but Yngwie (at least his younger self) has fluidity and personality is his Speed runs. He did many melodic tracks like Crying, Save your Love, Crystal Ball and many others
Once a month I need to come back to see this video, is not the best quality for hearing the song. But Frank really gets you trough the feeling and joy of playing it.
You like Rock and Metal more, because it's harmonically and technically inferior to any type of Jazz, therefore makes it more commercially appealing and easier to listen to. I can understand that. You must be an older person. The younger crowd hardly listens to Rock and Metal anymore. Rock and Metal hasn't been that popular with the young crowd since the 90's, when Rap and Hip Hop took over the mainstream music scene.
Uma das melodias mais lindas que já ouvi .

i think theres strong chance this song may be dedicated to a dog frank had, named "Spike"
Great explorers and little charmer is my personal favorite. And he’s the the reason why I own Ibanez prestige S series guitar.
