Thank you for the recipe. I like the way you presented it with just the recipe and no extra talking
Thank you, I tried this last night and it turned out delicious. I made it a stroganoff. Changes I made were I shook the beef pieces in flour before cooking (eliminated the need for the cornstarch at the end), put in 1/2 a package of cream cheese and half a cup of sour cream at the end, and topped with chives. Yummy!
Yess I’m going to do same thing but after I give my hubby his steak and gravy I’m going to add sour cream and cream cheese love this idea thank you
sounds good
loving the comfort food larry. This would go great with dumplings
Thanks buddy! Add some veggies and it would make a killer pot pie filling!
@@TheWolfePit YEs! I like Beef pot pie better than chicken pot pi anyway!
Decided to try this as something different than what I normally do, I added a bit of dry sage and a bay leaf, but man this recipe is perfect. Half way through a bowl right now had to pause eating to comment. Well done!
Looked excellent Larry! My Mom made this when I was a kid, was one of my favorites! Going to give this a try. Thanks
Thank you Richie! I hope this is as good as your moms!! Let me know what you think!
Thank you for this great recipe and straightforward video. I will try it soon
Simple and delicious. I've really started appreciating meals that can be left on the stove to do their own thing without me having to hover over them for an hour.
Oh YEAH!!!!!!! Straight up like the recipe is GREAT!!!!!! And with a stir of sour cream and a lil parsley you have gourmet beef stroganoff! Depending on your preference and your budget.
One of my favorite dishes, such a down home comfort food meal. Best on those chilly Fall or Winter evenings.
Looks nice &healthy
Marie Fraser Thank you Marie!!
I'd have add sour cream and white onions to turn it into Beef Stroganoff. Either way Beef and Noodles are tasty.
Definitely very easy to turn into beef stroganoff!! Thank you for watching!!
Larry
I need me a plate, I Am....
My mouth is watering. I love the simplicity without any sacrifice of flavor. Great share - thank you!
I made this yesterday, finally!! It was so good. I used smaller chunks of chuck and wild mushrooms. I usually don't use black pepper, but it worked for this dish.
I made this last night. I didn't have beef broth so I substituted chicken broth and added about a tablespoon of brown gravy sauce. Turned out great. Thanks.
Great way to improvise Andrew!! Glad you enjoyed! Thank you! Larry
Omg! Great idea!!! Forgot all about Egg noodles and gravy!!
Fantastic down home comfort food. I love this stuff. Thank you Larry.
Can I make this in a Dutch oven as well? Would it work the same...I don’t have a lid for my cast iron.
Sure, I think the most important part is letting the meat simmer for and hour and a half or two. That's what will tenderize the meat.
I'm going to pressure cook this in my insta-pot mini! It'll be done quicker!! Yesssss...
I like to add a little coorn starch slurry to thicken it up to a gravy, makes it very tasty, , makes a hearty meal.
Great job Larry on the beef and noodles, also thanks for the link to the recipe too!
Thank you Robert!! You're welcome!!
Dear Mr. Wolfe Pit....I know I am late to this party but I just made thus recipe and it is to DIE FOR! Thank you.

Yeah buddy!! Thanks Bubba!
+Tammy Adkins Tammy I used 4 cups. Sorry. You can't really add too much broth as in the end you have more gravy and everyone loves gravy!!!! LOL Please let me know how you like it!

I have a pot of this simmering on the stove right now! good video it looks delicious.I tried to keep it simple but once I get to the store that never happens. so I ended up using petite sirloins deglazed with red wine and added some rosemary/thyme thinking about adding some sour cream and make it stroganoff.

***** Sir you are always doing your job! I review your posts way more than I have time to try them, but the beef and noodles may happen sooner than later. We woke up to less than 60 degree temps.Soup, stew and comfort foods season is upon us.

YUM! I love beef and mushroom gravy! Great recipe Wolfe! Take care :)
Thank you Kelly!
love this recipe
Besides using cornstarch is there another item you can use to thicken up the gravy
Hi Dominique!! Yes, there are several things you can use. You can replace cornstarch with flour or arrowroot powder, you can make a roux or you can even use a little instant mashed potatoes. All of these will thicken the gravy in place of cornstarch. Thank you for watching!
Larry
Thanks for the recipe 😊
Looks great
