Looks good man. 👍 so the relay is inside that box crazy.. how i always ran lights. Was power. To fuse to relay. Than to the light. Than switch cuts the power. Than ground is never broken..if lots of lights would be power off a fuse box. To relay Than to light. Than cut it between the switch.. Than master breaker in-between the battery to pannel. Because if there is always power to the lights. And u have glowing plugs when your engine is off your battery will be dead in to Time leave u stranded. So be smart don't run your battery dead off your lights. And light switches. Anything that is glowing even your flashing car alarm 🚨 will and can drain your battery.. without a solar charger or Alternator you put yourself at risk. So gotta wire smart..yes I'm a electrician and vehicle electrician and looking for this for my truck. Lightbars. Foglights. Shell lights ground lights. And rooftop canopy lights. Looks pretty cool..thanks for the video. Might go with this and wire it a little different because I don't think trucks. Have a battery cut off lug. Like u yanked the key. Maybe need to throw in a Amp readout..while engine is off. Deep cycle marine batteries are made to go low. Than recharged. Fishing at night..just off battery same setup graph. Lights. Ect..
Can you change the background color of the switch panel?
No you can’t but you can choose the color aux beam you want.
So in Theory if i connect the red accessory wire to a constant 12v power with a toggle switch and fuse i would be able to power everything on even with the canam completely off right? And then when it comes to being stored turning off the toggle switch and the fuse block would stop any battery draw?🤔
Why would you hook up to constant power? Can am has an accessory post. You should hook up to that. Accessory post gets power when you turn the sxs on.
@@willsprojects2601 mostly for using radio and stuff like that without having to hit the start button to get into accessory mode since it shuts off automatically after like 10mnts i carry a powerjumper in the canam at all times anyway in case it does get a bit low on power but sometimes out in the dunes we like to have music at a low volume while we relax a bit and drink some trail juice’s lol
Oh yeah I hear you. If that’s the case then yes you need to run a fused switch and relay to constant power in order to power up devices while your can am is off
@@willsprojects2601 so it would be the same exact connection only difference would be the red wire you put on the busbar for accessory i would set to constant with a fuse and relay with a toggle switch and it should work right? Im just trying to get a second head on this before i mess something up lmao
Yes that should work.
Great Video man! Very helpful!
If this model doesn’t do independent channel strobing or other features, as mentioned, which model does?
AR-800 RGB SWITCH PANEL WITH APP, TOGGLE/ MOMENTARY/ PULSED MODE SUPPORTED
what brand paddles. Also how do they do
Gmz sand strippers. They are perfect for the desert. Air them down to about 12 and your gtg.
What squadron mounts are those?
I got the mounts on Amazon
Which fuse you install your whips and chase bar?
I’m pretty sure both are on 5 amps
Thanks brother I’m about to install mines today
It’s super easy the switch panel. Just make sure you keep all them wires protected and clean.
Which is the positive and negative for the xl 80? I have the same and I’m confused on how to install them
Black should be ground. If u got a 12v battery test it out. Are you hooking it up to a aux beam?
Yes I’m booking my xl80 to the same aux beam you got
Hooking up ^
The aux beam is so easy to work with. It gets rid of all them extra wires and relays.
@@willsprojects2601 so from the xl80 wire green is the power?
