thanks for the install, however i found when i installed the lights, they only stay on for a brief moment, and switch back off. bad bulb or something to do with the led wattage?
The Mk5 BCM checks the electrical resistance of the bulbs. Because they're more efficient, LEDs have a higher resistance, and the car registers it as burnt, and cuts power. As far as I know, there's no way to configure the BCM for a higher resistance, so to stay on, you need to either wire a big resistance in parallel to the bulb, or disable the resistance check altogether, but then you won't have a warning anymore, if one of the lights burns out.

Must be a bad bulb. One of mine started flashing after a few months. Swapped them out for some that cost a little more and havent had an issue since

I pulled the airbox out. Its pretty easy to take the airbox out
