- Here you'll see a almost 10min review of the Top15 single time trial elimination of the DTM 1993 at the Norisring.
Kindly excuse the wobbles. I bought my first video camera just one week before the Norisring event.
As the cars were on single time trial you can really enjoy the sound of every single car.
You'll see BMW E36 DTM, Opel Omega 3000 Evo 500, Mercedes 190 Evolution II / Class I and Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI.
TURN UP YOUR SPEAKERS and enjoy the sound, as I once more added some extra effort to the sound.

Hehe cool war mein erstes Jahr Norisring. Ich sitz da auch irgendwo auf der Tribühne. War seit dem auch jedes Jahr auf der Noris. Aber die Geräuschkulisse werd ich nie vergessen. Krieg ich heute noch Gänsehaut. :-))))))
Hammer, die BMW damals!! Das waren noch echte Sounds - brutale Ansauggeräusche. :-)
es wird wieder zeit für ne vernünftige DTM mit "seriennahen" Fahrzeugen und viel mehr Herstellern, am besten auch noch mit homologationsmodellen.
Die heutigen DTM Fahrzeuge haben ja kein teil mehr gemeinsam mit den Fahrzeugen woran sie optisch leicht angelehnt sind
Aktueller denn je!
das einzige was sie mit serienfahrzeugen gemeinsam haben ist die a-c säule meine ich ab da ist alles länger tiefer etc.
es wird ja zwischenzeitlich darüber sinniert, ob die DTM nicht elektrisch betrieben werden sollte - bravo! Das wäre der Sargnagel!
@@FrontPlayer01 wenns dann wieder seriennähere autos wären und s wieder n bisl mehr kontaktsport wäre, wäre es auch mit E autos interessanter, als mit den aktuellen dingern
@@Turbo1602ti hör dir nochmal die Sounds an (auch wenn es nicht annähernd an das Original heran reicht), dann kann ich dir sagen, es wird nicht diese Emotionen bei den Zuschauern hervor rufen

Was habe ich mich amals noch für die DTM interessiert... Habe mich auf jedes rennen tierisch gefreut. War total traurig, als die DTM bzw. ITC dann Ende 1996 beendet wurde. Habe 2000 versucht ein paar Rennen zu sehen, nachdem die DTM neu gegründet wurde, aber die Rennen und Autos ab 2000 haben einfach nicht mehr das Flair der alten DTM. Heute interessiert mich die DTM nicht mehr, wirklich traurig, was daraus geworden ist.
Gerd Ruch also participated in this race with his white Mustang. Watch out for the racing footage coming soon. On the Norisring straight he showed the class I cars what "V8-Power" means. Unfortunately the brakes of the Mustangs weren't the best so the power advantage was lost on the brake.

Hochdrehende 6-Zylinder-Motoren sind einfach klasse! Wann begreifen die Verantwortlichen der neuen DTM endlich, dass die niedrig-Drehzahl-V8-Motoren keiner hören will!

Der Linder BMW hatte übrigens noch den alten s14 4 Zylindermotor vom e30 verbaut 😀😏

Hallo bin zwar erst 24 aber kann mich da noch gut dran erinnern war mit meinen vater früher immer bei den dtm Flugplatzrennen in Diebholz und Wustdorf.Voll Schön das zu hören echt orginal wie früher toll.

Ist klar der Begrenzer, jedoch hatte der Nannini Alfa ein spezielles sequentielles Getriebe mit je einem Hebel für's Hoch- und Runterschalten, da Nannini den Hebel nur schieben, nicht aber ziehen konnte.
Mir fällt dabei gerade ein, dass der Berlin 2000 Benz von der Miss Elli auch ein sequentielles Getriebe drin hatte beim ersten Tourenwagen Revival, jedoch das ganze erst bei der W202 C-Klasse als großartige Neuerung im TV präsentiert wurde (mit Bernd Schneider als Erklärbär)

Es müsst heuer mein 28. oder 29. Mal nacheinander gewesen sein. 1981 oder 82 war ich wohl das erste Mal dabei.
Und seit 1993 ist die Videokamera immer mit dabei.

Der e36 Linder hatte eigentlich die komplette Technik der e30 m3 Dtm verbaut. Wirklich schönes Auto.

It was a passing remark due to the title of the video being "sounds of dtm", unless you consider the commentator to be one of those sounds?
Erhm...let me think...Kalli Hufstadt made all the live at track commentary from I guess at least 1988 until 2003. So to speak he was the "voice" of DTM at the races back then.
So is his commentary included in the term "Sounds of DTM"? Well, I think so...

War auch dort.
Audi war ja bis Mitte 1992 noch mit ihrem Audi V8 dabei... aber hatten dann Probleme mit dem Grundgewicht (war nach Gewinn der Meisterschaft 1991 stark erhöht worden). Ebenso mit der Technischen Abnahme ihrer Kurbelwelle (Soweit ich weiß, hatte Audi das Teil von 90° auf 180° gekröpft um mehr Leistung herauszuholen um das Mehrgewicht zu kompensieren. BMW und Mercedes hatten dagegen interveniert) und Audi zog sich deswegen komplett aus der DTM zurück...
Kommt Nannini da eigentlich in den Drehzahlbegrenzer oder kommt das von dem sequenziellen Getriebe, was Alfa zum ersten mal für Nannini eingesetzt hat?
