13:50 here you forgot that neo tachyon not just negate all other cards on the field it even stops your opponent from activating any card or effect and cuz you activated the counter trap it ends the chain this is why they couldn't flip the face down card
My hypothesis for the nerf is: Skill: You either can only use 1 of the parts of the skill (getting a Level 8 and summoning, or searching for the Counter Trap or R-U-M) per turn, or you can only do the search part Turn 3 or later. Deck: Galactic Spiral Dragon is the most likely Limit 3 or 2 (probably 3), Limit 1 to the Counter Trap - similar to Salamangreat Roar. Possible Limit 2 to other Main Deck cards. There might be further hits, but I think Tachyon might be Tier 1 or 2 for awhile after the next Forbidden/Limited list - until the next list, that is. This mix up just shows that it might just alter a little bit and stay top tier for awhile.

They could limit one the the trap and one of the dragons, or also limit 2 to hit consistency; they could limit 3 one of the dragon to avoid them having access to limited 3 trap cards; or just limit 2 or 3 a couple of different dragons to hit consistency 🤓 There are so many ways to do this, even by just changing the skill to once per duel instead of twice 😏

You can make a better and more consistent version, but I sure this one Is spicy 🔥🔥🔥
This was the first Tier 0 deck I've ever played in all of Yugioh I think. In the salad format of duel links, I wasn't playing them so I didn't know what true power felt like. Now, having wielded this sinister force, I truly understand what Tier 0 feels like 😂
