    Thx mate!
I opened up my old JR and its is strikingly the same as yours. Good to know mine can be converted :) Now all I have to do is find the conversion kit.

Hello hello - thank you for an excellent video.
Forgive me ignorance please, but could you provide more detail about the "orange module" bit you purchased and mounted on the plywood board?
Why? My Dad and I are building up a little project and converting an old 35MHz transmitter to 2.4GHz needs doing. My Dad knows a lot about the RC stuff, but his experience does not include multimeters and electronics. Neither does mine really 😢 but I have done a bit for work and was able to follow your video instructions quite easily, so think I'm up for the job.
But I'm not sure what the purchase - the orange module. Could you please put a description in the comments?
    Thanks very much. Lisa

Ive got a futaba T6AXs radio. Would this kit work to convert it to DSMX?

Thanks for the video. I bought the same module however I couldn't bind it to my spectrum receiver. The hard thing about the transmitter is that it is not indicating the state or procedure. Therefore, could you please give some tips about it.

Barış Taner I suggest you first check that your transmitter is compatible with this conversion, some older FM radios won't accept the module. Do you have the 3 wires connected correctly? Are you following the correct binding procedure (instructions are included with the kit). My radio is quite old but was a PCM/PPM radio and it worked. Also, have a search through rcgroups for some more information. I hope this helps you, thank you for watching and commenting, much appreciated.

I just did this same conversion, though I had an additional black wire which attached to the under side of the connector you removed, so I assumed it was a common ground and tied all together. Though now when I turn it on the screen shows RAP. Any idea what that is?

+David Missirian - That's a new one for me - I just opened mine up to have a look and I checked the board that I removed and I can't see an extra black wire. Maybe try searching rcgroups for some help?
