Man, your guides have been super helpful, trying to adapt to the mechanics still, but now I'm kind of figuring out what stats or upgrades are worth with the hero you're playing and the abilities you get. Thanks again for the video, very helpful on what abilities are good and which are mid. Cheers.
broo keep making more guides for this , theres so little on youtube right now, and its blowing up especially from asmongolds recent play. Boutta get mad subs soon , myself included ! Superhelpful vids!
Been looking high and low for a guide on when to pick scrolls to get upgrades for the traits. Either I'm very unlucky or I don't know which level I can start picking them up. All I know so far from searching is get 3 upgrades through leveling then you can get an upgrade in the scrolls, if you're lucky. Any more information on this would be very helpful :) Very informative video on which upgrades to pick btw!
Heya, thanks for the comment! In a recent play I ran out of traits to pick when leveling, but at level 50 there were new traits to pick from again. Other than that, I must admit I am not entirely sure what decides when you can upgrade abilities. I imagine there must be some magical level (might be 50 as well) that "unlocks" the upgrades. Do keep in mind that not all upgrades of the abilities are unlocked by default, some require achievements before you can find them in the list of abilities to pick from the scrolls. Hope that at least gave you some more information, I'll be sure to let you know once I find out more! If you are on my Discord server I'll post it there 😄
With good traits + an upgrade or two (so you have loads of blades flying around), and good mob density I can imagine them to be pretty insane! But to start out with, on a fresh account without many things unlocked, they usually end up just flying around in empty space..
@@drbinxy9433 is it all down to luck if you get the upgrades when picking up the scrolls later on in the run? Trying get the 3m lightning strikes quest done but I can't seem to get it upgraded properly without also getting another ability thrown into the mix.
Before you pick up a scroll to get an upgrade for an ability, I think you need to have upgraded it with "enough" level-up traits.. so the trait options you get when levelling specifically for that ability. What the magic number is I am not 100% sure though!
I've been seeing some ability on streams that I have no clue what it is...maybe it comes from gear...but it's like 2 constant flame pillars (looks like flames coming out of engine)..do you know hat that I'd from?
Is it like a flamethrower done by the character? Then it might be the upgraded Dragon's Breath. If it is random "explosions" on the map then it might be the upgraded Lightning Strike. If not, then I don't know 😄
The main thing I disagree with is Charging being low rated for Splinters. The 5% projectile size malus isn't that important, especially since the only way they work well is if you are spitting out massive amounts of them, which you need the attack speed for.
I can't say I fully disagree 😄 The game is not entirely clear on what exactly gets increased by picking the Area/Cone/Range/Size/Duration traits. For example, do the Arcane Splinters count as a summon? If not, does duration still make them stay longer? So depending on how easy it is to make up for losing size, the prio order of the different Ability Traits could definitely be different!
@@Jokefish Yeah, the lack of documentation is frustrating, I've had a LOT of questions that I simply can't find the answer to. I was sorta hoping the youtube community had magically managed to figure them out haha. Like does the exterminator's basic attack deal fire, physical, or both? Can he trigger the sparking tips gloves or does he not do physical damage? What about with the Ring of Fire? Does that work with him? Does it turn off sparking tips for other characters suddenly? Do the cleric and necromancer do any physical damage or is it all magical? Does the echoing band only work with certain characters who DO physical damage? This is all testable I suppose but I wish the game was far more clear.
@Tinil0 Yup, agreed. Some of the abilities state that they are physical or elemental damage but that information is very inconsistent and completely unavailable for the basic attacks. Hopefully they will add more information to the items/abilities, else we'll have to rely on the community to figure it out 😅
I thinkdex has nice vid where he uses meteor with archer and projectile buffs clas buff and not o much damage a he doe not need it. lot of balls flying :D

I’ve been covering the screen in ring blades for a few runs now. It can get crazy if built correctly.
