That last clip about Ada-1 attaching that device to her head is about us putting together basically a mobile "superforge" that was scattered through pieces across the different forge locations. That device basically allowed Ada-1 to be a mobile weapons platform, and honestly I thought we'd see more of her in the future stories because of that, but instead they turned her into an armor transmog vendor.
It’s worth mentioning that Ada-1 is, at least to my knowledge, the only known Exo alive to still be in their first iteration. Due to extreme circumstances she became an Exo at a very young age and effectively grew up with her robotic body, which mitigated the Exomind Rejection that forces most Exos to do multiple resets.
Ada's story is so heart breaking to me as a mom, particularly with a kid with some serious health issues, she remains one of my favorite characters that will always just have this sad, special place in my heart.
Ada-1's VA is Britt Baron; also Tifa Lockhart (Final Fantasy VII Remake) & Spartan Linda-058 (Halo 5: Guardians). & the Drifter's VA is Todd Haberkorn; also Natsu Dragneel (Fairy Tail) & Wilhelm (Borderlands 2).
Yeah so the forsaken seasons in particular are pretty light on story (the later ones have lots more) but to sum it up the Black armory was attacked by guardians which is why ada hates them initially. The thing at the end where she was purple was a secret cutscene that you could get that revealed that ada is essentially a black armory forge in an exo body so she is pretty special in that regard. Also to clarify exos used to be people which is why ada has a mother, they have their mind put into a robot for different reasons for example ada was fatally injured in the guardian attack (I think, it's been a while lol) so was made into an exo to save her. Also don't know if you caught it but the drifter part in this ties into his part in forsaken when he sent us to find his friend. The gun we got in this was given to us by the same guy that killed drifter's friend which is why he called us punk and stuff. That storyline is actually really interesting but it's not really shown off in the gameplay, it's more of a lore thing.
I don't have a good read on the drifter yet. From what I remember of Forsaken, he seemed to imply that he was the one that tipped off where his unalived friend was to the golden gun man. 🤔
Season of the Forge is indeed of the greatest seasons of all time. The narrative direction, the fashion direction and the production (ie. weapons and overall feel and look of the season) direction are just simply top notch. It's my favorite season by far. Such a shame they did not developed more. We need those weapons back, best weapons by far (season wise, Defiance come to a close second) and they need it to make it craftable.
I wish I'd kept my kindled orchid it's by far the best energy hand cannon that ever was. Also happened to be the start of one of the longest era of crucible balance
season of the drifter focuses obviously on the drifter as well as a group known as the 'nine'. Following this season of opulence can just be skipped as while it was focused on calus there was no real important story beats hence destins video only being 10 minutes
All Exos are built by Clovis Bray corporation in chase of "La Fontaine du jouvance" (The fountain of youth) Except Ada-1. She is built by Black Armory with schematics stolen from Clovis bray and modified it for Black Armory purpose. Ada-1 has a built-in weapon forge, and she can build weapons herself. What we gave her is a piece that enables her to mod the built Black Armory weapons. (The modded weapons have the same glow)
Sadly, most of this season's story is told through lore books that can be found in game. it doesn't make too much sense if you only watch the dialogue and gameplay. Destiny 2's story telling gets way better in the seasons later on, especially during shadowkeep.
I think it’s important to let you guys know ada became an exo while she was still a child so she is like 10 years old before you keep asking questions 😂
@@terabellum By lore. YES. Exos have every functionality that humans have. (Yes. All of them) A modified Exo body triggers what is called "Dissociative Exomind Rejection". In which brain subconsciously detects a fault within body then triggers "Insanity" level of allergy type sickness. (Basically, goes mad) (Resetting the Exo will refresh the timer before brain detects the fault and trigger DER) Most Exos eventually triggers DER because they are transferred in prebuild default Exo body. Banshee-44 is an extreme case that you will see later why. If i remember correctly. Elizabeth Bray is one of few Exos that has her body custom built to match her born body perfectly that DER will never triggers. (Ada-1 is also custom made to match her + the forge part as body modification like implants)
Would suggest skipping next season. Widely regarded as the worst season in destiny 2 life time, and it has 0 story elements that progress the story line.
Nah, bad take. Season of the Drifter was unpopular, because it focused on gambit and the average playerbase did not get gambit prime. But it had some nice Drifter and the Nine lore and foreshadowing to speculate about. Pls dont skip. May not be the most important Season, but it was ok. (Also by far the worst Season was Season of the Worthy).
@@00Splitter00 To each his own I guess. Worthy was hindered by the seasonal activity not being match made imo. But I still found the story more compelling and easier to follow. I remember coming out of drifter asking myself wtf happened the past 3 months.

I definitely cannot say all the seasons are bangers, or even all lore important, but some of them REALLY are

This was definitely recorded during a Dawning, The winter seasonal event lol
That music caught me so off guard 💀

I did enjoy the video, and season of the drifter is awesome :3

Exo's were all once human and had lives prior. Also ada is the only exo not made by the clovis bray corporation.(seen in warmind).
Is that why she can glow? 😆

Why is Ada so hot!? We need more seasons with her.
When you realize she's basically wearing a croptop
This raises an important question... Are exos... fully equipped? 🤪
@@terabellum weirdly enough there is a lore answer to this...and it is "whatever feels normal for them"
