Love the colour combination 👍
Hey mark...could you please tell me what model of torch you are using? New sub from Kansas!
Hey! Welcome! Wow I’m not sure I can remember as I’ve had it for over 5 years. I got it from Amazon but it’s a butane torch if that helps. Hope you continue to enjoy what you see 🤩
That’s stunning!!! I had doubts because I am not found of gray or really even black. But Wow!! I love it!!
Thank you so much ☺️
Beautiful Mark!! One of my favorites!! Thanks Mark & have a wonderful week. 😊💖

Glad you enjoyed it - thank you 🤩
It's beautiful. Question is that two separate canvases or one big canvase? But it simply beautiful. FIRE 🔥
Thank you - sorry thought I’d said the size in the video. It’s one canvas measuring 20x20 inch.
The colors sre magnificent Mark ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much ☺️
Perhaps, a blow dryer with much higher voltage would make it easier...?
I don’t understand? I find my blow dryer perfect 👌 💜
Stunning! You continue to knock it out of the park! Love those metallics. Love from NB Canada!
Yay! Thanks so much Brenda 🤩
Dried beautifully! The split canvas is perfect for this palette. Have a great week, Mark.😊

Hi Mark.
This piece is so dramatic. I absolutely love the creation with its deep, moody feel.
Yet again, thanks for sharing your passion with us.
Have a great week ahead.
Here in Oz it's almost 2am on Friday morning & we're really starting to feel the cold of winter.
I hope everyone has a fantastic week/weekend ahead.
Looking forward to your next inspirational art work.
Cheers, Adrienne
Hey Adrienne, thank you so much for your lovely comment. We’ve had a few nice sunny and warm days and now we are back to our rain and chill. I bet your colder nights are still warmer than our days haha. I love Australia. Thanks so much for watching and for all your support 🤩
Wow. Where is the dragon which splitted with his fire the night and misty morning? I love this colors. The flame design as a border between the gray and the black is gorgeous. I love your metallic creations. ❤. Greetings from Slovakia. Alena
Thank you so much ☺️ I really appreciate that
Oh Mark, this is sooo pretty!!!! I love that you used a grey tone with the black and not just black and white. It makes such a difference. This piece is perfectly balanced (which I first thought it wasn't because of the camera angle until you were finishing). The dry metallic colours look absolutely gorgeous and vibrant, like there was a fire. There are many interesting details and I love the black edge next to the metallics on the grey side. Another great job of yours 🖒💖
Yay! Thank you so much Michaela 🤩🤩🤩
Beautiful colours and composition 😊
Thanks again! I always appreciate your feedback Maddy 🤩
Always love your split base twists, Mark. Its gorgeous.

Thank you so much Denise 🙏🤩
This is really beautiful,i really love the metallic colours they really give a beautiful effect
Thank you Cheryl 🤩
Beautiful. I have just started pouring myself and its so nice to see a fellow Brit. Because of space and financial constraints i use the canvas boards from the works and basic aceylics from uk rertailers ( whichever has a sale going) its real fun making a lovely "mess" with the paints. Although not up to your standard, as you get what you pay for materials wise but its great to practice with till i get better! I found water and paint was too runny so use your recipe for glue medium. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you so much I really appreciate that. 🤩🤩
What else can I say,I loved it!! ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
Yay! Thank you so much ☺️
Colors over the warm gray look beautiful

My pleasure! 🙏🤩
Wow, this is really nice.
Thank you very much Ramona 🙏
Hello Mark !! 🥰 I listen this tuto with attention. It's always interesting to understand explain with patience what you do. 🧡🧡🧡 I really love this split piece with the metalic paint. 🎉🎉
I love the wet version, but on my mind i thinking... the side of the grey color is not my favorite side..., 🤔 the colors are beautiful but the black side the colors pop up better. 🥰 But, when you showing the dry result, my eyes opened verry big. I said WOW !! My heart love this piece too. The dry result is gorgeous Mark !!! 🤩🤩
I would have some news of your festival that you do, about 1 or 2 week? 😉
Good week to you and see you on the next video!! Take care to you Seeet Mark !! ❤🧡💛
Thank you so much Caroline. The dry versions I think always pop better as it’s the truer version of the paint when drying darker. I really appreciate your kind feedback and thoughts on the topic. The wellness festival I did last week was great, sold some paintings and also had groups of people contribute to a community project piece. Was great fun! Thanks so much for asking.
Hello Mark!! 🥰
Sometime I prefer the wet result. I think it's due to the color when is dry. 😉
I'm happy to have some news for the festival. 😁❤ Verry happy you have sold some painting. 🤩
And also for the group-project for the community. 👍💞 It's great to have fun.
Thank you for the news !! ❤❤
Love the colors on this split ❤

❤❤❤ beautiful colours! So bold and striking 👍.
I'm not too good managing the hairdryer technique Mark 😅. But I did manage to get the paint off the wall's 😅🥰🇦🇺
Thank you so much. Believe me, the amount of paint splattered on my walls when I started to learn this technique ☺️🤣
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt I'm so relieved to hear that Mark 😅 I'm a trooper and never give up 👍🇦🇺
Hi Mark
Your paintings is beautiful. I am very new at this. Can u tell me what hair dryer u recommend? I bought one but the cold air stays cold for 10 secs then its warm air. And I think its to big. I live in Sweden so maybe we dont have the same brands here but I would be very thankful if u could recommend one😊.
@@easyfuncraft6065thank you - please check description box as I list all my info in there including hairdryer ❤

Yay! Thank you so much ☺️
This is so beautiful. Thank you, I am also considering this as a hobby.
You should! 👍🏻
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt do you perhaps have videos for complete beginners, because I don't know anything about this art and really want to start. It looks so easy. Money is a bit scarce but I see you can also do it with only water. And another thing - do you leave the piece to dry with that much paint on it? How long does it take to dry? Thank you and sorry for my English, it is not my first language.
@@pieterdupreez9913I have hundreds of videos so I’d suggest maybe picking a technique and watching some of them? They take a few days to dry and then a couple of weeks to cure 😊
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt Thank you I will
Spectacular Mark! ❤.
Glad you enjoyed it 💜
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt I’m here in Dublin for the FAB event and was hoping maybe you might join us. Would love to meet you❤️
@@kathyz8203Thanks Kathy - not on this occasion - I’d love to do an event at some point - hope you have a great time at FAB.
