How deep do the buckets go under water? This machine would be used where a dragline could be used, but the shore is too far to use a dragline. By th way this machine is NOT for gold mining, but I bet it could be modified to do that.
I think this partucular site is a final operational testing phase of its production...because the area its situated in looks more like a testing bed .than a mine.but hey im always wrong.

It is not a testing bed. The machine is not for Gold mining, the material is used for concrete production in Europe.
