@@mrobvious5892 Yep. I went to one to buy a toilet like an absolute rube. Got hosed for 179 dollars when I could have went to HD and got the SAME SHIT for 120. sometimes I never learn.
That didn't look like it was draining very well bubbling up at the end there
Neighbor wanted a hand rail for aging mom... told her no studs must hold 200 pounds or so to be code.. I refused to do it...she said just do it.. customers are there own worst enemy..she also used a gutter downspout for her dryer vent???? Not me some other contractor did it????
Classis Steve…”good enough for this neighborhood “!
I thought the line going in the wall was just a vent, but if it was the sink would have backed up. So I really don't know why this guy would have put the line through the floor like that.
How do people live like that, my god.
I’d have to look into the pipe going into the wall it seemed really loose I was thinking it maybe the vent and not the waste pipe … now water is running uphill
He screwed himself doing it the correct way
No glued joints on the plumbing ?... and they bought the house that way? home inspectors are a option in Mass? that blue pex supply line right in the middle of the walkway is up to code?
...hilarious..."this is terrible'....lmao
At 2: 08 the door in the basement is hung upside down. Some people just need to use the phone and a check book.
:
Wow good job, I'm very impressed you caught that!
How do you know that pipe coming out of the wall is vented? Or properly vented. Why would they even have that other pipe in the floor?
Oh my Lord, that’s one of those you walk into, then very quickly walk back out of.
This JOB is gonna require some “Smurf Jism.”
Good enough for this neighborhood indeed!
Enjoyed the video
Real good job i love your video
Where did that other straight down line run to?.... Just curious
The dog won't attack you , much, next level mama.
Wow, that PEX pipe going to the flloor with a meter where you walk and could kick it or break it... Geez... Who the hell designed this place?
Haha yeah it's just flappin' in the breeze
That pipe from the wall probably coming from the city s office.. who knows
so if it was me i will just re connect and glue the whole the properly to avoid leak since I’m not sure where exactly that pipe from the wall goes ….. but I’m 100% sure is a vent
Put a little more CHOOCH on it momma---the baby dog is a workin' ya'll---2/15/2023
You're a good man for tackling a mess like that...
Welp, that is 100% for sure aint no taj mahal mama
Definitely no taj mahal there, must be a backorder on pvc glue lol
Two drain' s are better then one.
Good enough for this neighborhood was an apt comment.
You know what they say...that glue takes way to long to use just slap it together. That was awesome.
too* long
I want to run all my plumbing and electrical on the outside of my walls like a ship so its easy to spot any problems and to repair it
That is one of the finest plumbing jobs I have ever seen! No cement, no traps!
Good to go!
Love your adventures Steve, you really get into some prize situations. I've used a sawzall for 40 years, there's a trick to it, but i do deburr, use a utility knife. Don't think I'd have had the courage to just fix an unglued PVC "trap" without finding out where it all ends up.
Hey guy, you dropped the ball on that one. You know what I mean. bada bing...
The Eskimo did a better job at building his house because......
E GLUED IT TOGETHER.
Clear primer is not up to code in Minnesota, inspector expects to see purple primer on
All joints
Wait until y'all see a toilet drain go up and over a basement doorway. Nothing surprises me anymore.
Hell, a DIY'er could've done a better job. At least they watch a few TH-cam videos and do a little research before they attempt something like this. Whoever did this didn't have the slightest clue what he was doing. At least it provides some quality entertainment.
Is the primer clear as well?? I’m so used to the purple
Hey guy, do it right for the lady!
Some people think they know everything. Some people can’t afford $90/hour plumber prices.
I would have had no way of knowing where either of those pipes went, and couldn't have done anything until I did know.
“ I guess it’s good enough for this neighborhood”
Anyone else find themselves saying “give it the old how ya doin”? 😂😂
There's Joe Homeowner, but don't forget Uncle Wally...
Plumber gonna get killed just walking down to the basement! Tell homeowners to clean that place
Hey come to Maine. Owned three houses in Maine and one in Connecticut. I loved our home in Connecticut (build quality)
Up here in Maine I love the life but man I’m not impressed with homes build quality.
You can see a lot of beer and self proclaimed Bob Villas worked on these homes 😌😂
That was a mess, you took a big risk connecting that pipe, without knowing if it was the drainage.
Glue costs double. Primer costs triple. This guy said " It don't leak don't touch it."
Holy smokes momma, here’s your problem. Not being glued makes your job easier.
