Just a matter of time before someone comes up with a sticker to validate that the QA & CAC stickers were valid. This is exactly why I've gone back to collecting raw coins. Too much premium is paid for the little stickers.
The problem is the young people that the Numismatic community needs to recruit to keep the hobby alive for the future. They are the ones that can't afford the premiums that are charged. A professional grade from NGC or PCGS should be enough.
I agree, but unfortunately the grading companies just aren't as reliable, or perhaps as honest as they used to be. I know I've seen coins for sale by companies such as APMEX that were several grades higher than they deserved to be, curious isn't it? In my opinion grades can be bought. This is often seen with coins where a single point is a $100,000 difference, which in its self I think is equally ridiculous.
I love these videos and interviews and comments. I live in NZ and do not have chance to visit the US coin shows. This will give me a feeling of having visited. Keep it up.
I knew, James looked familiar lol he was at this Fall's Coin & Stamp Show in Spokane Valley, WA when I won the main prize which was it's sixth drawing for the 1881 P $5 Gold Liberty Head!
Great work as always Charles. I like the format of this video. Have been wondering about the QA service and coinweek's videos have been the best source of info for that. I really like that QA gives you a note explaining their assessment...I wish PCGS and NGC did that. Keep up the good work.
Great job Dave and Charles! I learned a lot! Thanks QA check for explaining in very good detail. Interesting concept of grading the graders and i learned much more from this vid. Glad to see that only a few of the pop submitted got the sticker, even for a VIP like Charles!
Thanks Charles ! I learned a LOT ! Thought I knew almost everything ! If You saw Me You would know Me from FUN coin shows from 2007 Orlando-2011FUN in Tampa...if You were there. :)

So who’s gonna certify the QA? 😜
Great video,
Very informative,
how does the premium that comes with having a CAC stricker bring?
So are you looking for coins with no errors, Are with errors?
