He was a leading figure in developing a new style of nature filming, and still it doesn't bring him back! HIS LOVE for the WORLD is not unseen! Whatever it was, that killed his neck, his parents should be blessed.. Roses to heaven for you!
From Alaska in the snow to later in South America, high up again in the snow, he had made a giant leap with his imagery and story telling. The observations he made in his surroundings, the feel for the right moment and gorgeous sujets, the tasteful music that always matches the land I saw ... I consider this art.
I've watched Iohans first series years ago now. Ive rewatched them all again. So chuffed that someone's posted these last vids. There's no one that comes close to the emotion these create, so wonderfully relaxing. What a waste of such a kind soul. He'll never be forgotten.
Nothing, I still have a terrible emptiness and I can not put into word the emotions that he transmitted to me, I can only thank you infinitely for all you do to keep his memory alive.Johan you are and you will always be in my heart.
I also stumbled on to Iohan’s videos and enjoyed them more than anything I’ve ventured onto!! I was so literally broken hearted when I googled his name and again stumbled on the news of his passing!! I blve the world lost such a beautiful person and isn’t as beautiful without him!! He really touched my heart and soul!! May he rest in peace!! Thank you so much for sharing these last videos it made my evening brighter!! God bless!! 😢❤

Missing those great soundtracks; those sceneries; his light heart. It's ironic that I always feared him being killed by wild animals, car crashes, accidents, criminals, along his lonely journeys. But he himself took his life away.... It's so sad 😢! Let's value our lives and thrive each day, come good or bad times.
I have watched most of your journeys and quite amazed by your spirit and talent. I did get an indoor bike trainer and had sleep issues but what was interesting is I could ride in the morning with no problem but afternoons was an issue. I think it has something to do with your body producing stress hormones and the body needs time to get rid of it. So anyone embarking on this biking you will most likely have sleep issues
These vidoes are a wonderful memorial to a wonderful person. I cant stop the tears from falling whilst watching them. Rest in peace you beautiful soul xx
I am so grateful for these memorial videos, and for the love and dedication that went into them. I would like to think that Iohan is still exploring the universe with his open, loving curiosity - healed now of the disease that so tormented him in this world.
So great to see some of Iohan’s unpublished work! I have watched the rest of his videos many times over. Will there be any more in the future? I do wish that the missing footage from See the World series would be put up on TH-cam again. This footage was fantastic! Thanks so much for making it public!
