- I visited a local barbershop in Iloilo City, Philippines, for a shave and a haircut. I did not expect such a warm welcome! I was lucky to meet the Fademaster himself, and he certainly earned his pay today.

tbh you look diff after that haircut.. looks like 10 years younger 😂 the reason why local barber shop is good on all haircut is because thats their job maybe 10 to 15 customer a day imagine they do that everyday they improve their skills everyday... on all types of hair...
Hello Tater. I was born in the Philippines, although, raised in SoCal. I left my homeland at a very young age. I have not been back to visit since. I plan on going back home to visit someday. Just wondering if you have plans on visiting San Juan / San Fernando La Union.

I was new in my area, my first haircut was a disaster but fortunately I found a gem of a barber, just send him a video or picture of the haircut that you wanted and dude's going to Houdini his shit. I can only tip him 250-300 pesos I know it's small but just appropriate with my monthly pay and just extending my appreciation on his craft.

i feel like filipino barbershops will charge their haircut based on how nice their place is than their skill. because most barbershops i went to give me good cuts, just in different comfort level and if they offer styling, vacuum, massage etc.
