That is completely wrong. A ping is measured using the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP). Your settings with the TCP Optimizer Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) have no effect on the Internet Control Message Protocol. Games generally use the User Datagram Protocol (UDP) for data transmission between client and server, and here again your settings have no effect. Your ping depends on so many factors over which you have absolutely no influence.
It completely cut my ping in half and I've shown proof on stream. If you look at my older Fortnite streams and see my ping, it's around 30 in game. Now it's 2-20 in game. It worked for me and all of my friends and supporters who used it have had excellent results.
@@Punhcy As already mentioned, these are completely different protocols, the settings for one protocol have no effect on the other. Reset the TCP Optimizer settings and then test your ping, you won't see any difference. The ping depends on many factors over which you have no control. For example, how far away is the server, how many routes do your packets take, how busy is the Internet depending on the time of day, are there disruptions on the Internet or on the game servers, how busy are the game servers .... A ping is always a return trip and what happens in between is beyond your control.
@@ShellCode-oo2cu no I fully understand how it works. I've talked to my stream and I'm confused how it even worked for me. It makes absolutely no sense. But I think it's just making it a higher priority for your wifi, thus making you receive the signals first and optimizing your DNS.

Except the fact that I use Ethernet and sometimes I'll either use my wired lan cable or my powerline adapter Ethernet is what conducts the change of my IP address. When I used to use voicemeteer to connect my audio between 2 computers with one headset, I'd have to change my IP address to connect with the other because it would change every time I would use a the Ethernet cable. So yes, it is different every time I use my PC.

Yes I do, go to HUD settings, scroll down and look for the net debug stats and turn it on
Bro the first game I had 5 ping in game and then 2nd game I was on my normal ping 25
Yea it does tend to fluctuate sometimes but usually it is pretty stable. How strong your Internet is depends on how well this will work
