Yeah, I just did the math on that. $40 an hour is over $83,000 a year. To come online and say “only $40 an hour,” in such a disparaging tone, tells me she comes from a world where $83,000 a year is poverty level. 😮
Even with my college degree, I’ve never made that much. That made me freaking sick to hear that. I’m still happy and have all of the things I need and don’t need an mlm to convince me I need more than that.
7:40 nobody joins a cult. They join a business, a community, a religion, a service organization, a self-help group, etc. These nefarious groups will disguise themselves as something positive to attract anyone and anyone, they won't advertise themselves as a cult. Maybe you'll have someone flippant enough to make jokes about being a cult, but their advertising will be more about their good works, their benefits, their uplifting attributes. Anyone can be manipulated into a cult, because everyone has imperfections and hardships.
I finally left the MLM I was with last year (Modere), I feel so much better being away from it! My upline coach has a podcast on YT where she said "being broke is a choice" and that was such a major turnoff (this and other reasons).
If you’ve been in a hit tv show and don’t know enough to manage your money or hire someone to manage your ACTUAL RESIDUAL INCOME (from the television show going into syndication) why would anyone trust your “business advice” for anything? Why would you go forward to spread that even further??
Unfortunately my friend is sucked into this ‘business’ and it just breaks my heart. Constantly pushing all the powdered drinks and constantly posting on stories in instagram. She’s always on her phone it is just sad. She’s in so deep she cannot see the cultiness of it all! Also these stupid wellness companies have created this mess of disbelief towards the science community.
And I did buy from her in the beginning (the skincare) and ended up with an allergic reaction. My dermatologist gave that look when I said what I was using.
Also, sounds like she has a fan base/ following already. That changes drastically when you're up against the everyday Joe like me who has no followers.
“Willing” an MLM “business” is such a crazy concept. I have a friend who sold Arbonne and she loved to travel and would set up a display and use the products while at the resort pools and wait for people to ask about what she was using and then invite people up to her hotel room to sell them the products. It was so cringy.
the fact that she was involved with Supernatural is crazy to me! that used to be one of my favorite shows, and i never would have thought there’d be an mlm hun that was a part of it
And Dawson’s Creek… 2 hit shows and even if she never auditioned again she has a lifetime of residual income from those shows! She’s flat out saying such a poor planner that she needed to join an MLM???
It's life changing, just not the way she's implying it will be; life-changing debt, life-changing damage to personal relationships and life-changing destruction of your reputation.
Big yikes o.O If she was watching this through the eyes of someone else, I bet she'd be mortified. And uh, she realizes that regardless of how hard it was to reach her sales goal that it starts alllllll over the very next day, but with a newer, higher goal! Sounds like a neverending hamster wheel of doom. Thanks again, Julie, I hope she gets out, too.
There are a number of Arbonne NVPs in my area on Vancouver Island (I don't understand how an organization can so many Vice Presidents) and one is currently on "vacation" in Maui ahead of an Arbonne leadership event and even in these days where she is supposedly taking time with her husband she is showing how she is on lengthy training calls throughout the day and is posting Arbonne product info and videos all day including videos where she literally boasts about "time freedom" and yet the time freedom is absolutely not in the room with us. She is "working her business" 24/7 at home with kids and any time she is on one of these Arbonne trips which are used to lure recruits she is still posting and promoting. If the goal is to be able to travel to exotic places and experience "time freedom" then it is very telling that even on holiday they are hustling. When I go on my *paid* vacation from my 9-5 job (which Arbonne huns tell me is oppressive) I am not expected to work AT ALL. I am in fact discouraged from checking my email!
There are so many west coast Canada Arbonne babes right now! (They are called National Vice Presidents, but that’s just a rank like emerald or diamond in Amway - it’s meaningless in the traditional sense, it only sounds impressive because we associate the title with its use in a proper company). The lady in this video, and all of them at the end, are in Maui right now. There used to be a ton of Ontario Arbonne ladies attending too, but their ranks are falling *fast*!! I’m hoping the drop-off of ranks in Vancouver happens faster than in Ontario, as people realize they don’t need these overpriced unregulated powders and supplements … I also hope the people out west realize MLM is a product based pyramid scheme (achieved through legal loopholes thanks to Amway), and completely unsustainable, faster than the people in Ontario!
@@C__P13 Oh I am fascinated by it. I don't know what the scene is in Ontario but on Vancouver Island there are two NVPs in the same area and one of their besties is also a NVP on the Mainland. They all also attend Awaken by Danny Morel events/mind control programming which is not cheap. They all say the same things about "manifesting" and "alignment" and stepping into the "divine feminine" etc. One of them is currently also entering the world of coaching and is taking a $2100 a month coaching course. She is probably trying to pivot in case Arbonne goes the way of the other MLMs lately. Oh, and the other top NVP on the Island is the ex-fiancée of Greg Martel who is wanted for running a $300M ponzi scheme.
@ I know EXACTLY who you’re talking about with those three Arbonne NVPs!! I didn’t know about one being an ex-fiancée of Greg Martel though - thank you for the tea ☺️. My guess, is that they’re strategically placing downlines to allow for all their good friends to rank up. If their friends rank up, they get more money, but also get to take their friends on trips and say “See, it works.” I saw that Danny Morel trip - he’s a total charlatan and they’re sucked into it, and it’s SO expensive! That ‘manifesting’ and ‘alignment’ stuff is total BS (I used to be right into that crap but I’ve woken up🤦🏻♀️) I too am absolutely fascinated by the goings-on of the Canadian Arbonne ladies and have been watching them for years, as I have a friend who originally got in as Camilla Scott’s downline and rose up to ENVP just like the Vancouver women - she’s barely got any business now, but she’s still in - in Ontario they are all loosing their ranks like a house of cards. You wonder, watching them all (Ontario and out West) how they do it, they seem so convincing, and like they’ll be swimming in cash for forever - but I know from first hand sources that it seems nice for IG, but it’s nasty behind the scenes. They’ll burn through friends and downlines as soon as people start leaving or not making money. Give it time and it’ll all fall apart! 🙂 I feel badly for some who are just naive, but the 3 ladies at the top know what they’re doing!
The people that get caught being dishonest & having people "buy" their ranks is what gives NWM a Bad name. And how are they NOT held accountable by the actual company?!?!?! It honestly pisses me off so bad!
This is so very sad. It would take a lot for her to wake up, after accepting the money and the support of her parents. They need to be educated just as much as her.
I have heard that she's bringing her family to Maui and they're going to see the "leadership" conference in full force. Full days of non-stop indoctrination isn't a vacation...
Got my first hun invited a few weeks ago from a girl I went to high school with for Arbonne (and I remember her saying her mom did it back then, around 2008). Needless to say I kindly replied I can't support her, but Merry Christmas to her and her family.
In the second clip, where she’s talking about all the women who have rallied to ‘help’, I’m pretty sure it’s Dec. 29, not Christmas, which makes it even more wild, because she says she’s at $90somethingK and needed to get to $160 by midnight on Dec. 31. So how on earth did she sell *over* $60K in 2 days, when she could barely sell $90K in the first 28 days of the month. Riddle me that!! 🧐
@@lauriechan1426 Exactly!! They’ve probably put it on the credit card and will ‘deal with it later’. But those fizz sticks and protein powder are so delicious they’ll be worth every penny.

This is me. I actually do LOVE some products from 3 different MLM companies. So of course, I "joined" in order to get the discounts. Have I ever done a cold reach out? ABSOLUTELY THE F NOT. I will NOT. I really do make a small commission if someone buys a product from my link. I just have never been able to hound women to join me when I haven't made much progress myself. I'm VERY aware of all the tactics & "cult like" things too. I just use my products that have made a difference & that's it. 😂😂

$40 an hour is a *dream come true* for most people. The federal minimum wage here in the US is $7.25/hr. Her privilege is showing, and it's ugly.
Absolutely. In Canada the average minimum wage is around $15 which is around $10 USD
