The creepiest thing for me is not a mission but a piece of music, it’s the music that usually plays in Mass Effect 1 when on a frigate. It’s so frikken creepy
mysha th-cam.com/video/F1SxfW73lMI/w-d-xo.html This the one? For some reason the files name is Ilos apparently despite the fact it plays on frigates and abandoned freighters
There are some side missions in ME 1 where Cerberus was experimenting with husks and thorian creepers that deserve an honorable mention, but otherwise you nailed this list!
Yeah the original mass effect trilogy was full of creepy missions personally here are some of mine Going to the collector base at the end of mass effect to it extremely creepy you get to see all the pause or all the trap colonist were and if you don't get there in time you actually watched some of your crew yet turn to liquid so the fact of matter is you're going through a giant tomb or hundreds of thousands of innocent colonists were turned to a giant reaper and their essence were transferred to it is very unsettling plus you can lose your entire team and just effect that this is premunt as suicide mission with all that going around you is pretty much an unnerving moment Another moment would be going through the Cerberus base near the end of mass effect 3 and going through the terminal that you find out how much the elusive man manipulate you in mass effect 2 and the fact that all the experiments they were doing and how much they were manipulating you and picking out your crew in finding people You would sympathize with in bringing old friends to easily manipulate you to go after the collectors Keep experiments and you get to see the human labor again was very creepy
Garrus’s mission in ME1, where you’ve helped him track down Doctor Saleon. You have to kill his test subjects who have all become mindless monsters, and then his lab is covered in blood from the various species he’s “experimented” on.
I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite collection of missions in the series. I really loved the creepy/horror missions, first time I came across the Creepers, I back peddled so hard xD... But the biggest horror was when you see Shepard's dancing skills, and you realise you will never be that good... I'll never give up though.
@@OuterOdyssey Haha indeed, they could of just sent Shepard shuffling his way towards the Reapers... The war would of ended with the Reapers also trying to Shepard Shuffle xD
It's not a misión actually. But in the first mass effect the idea of exploring the planets always scares me because of those giant worms or the scary environment of loneliness or dark environment
See the banshees are terrifying, but i got that monestary surprise reveal of the banshees spoiled for me because the first time I fought them was on one one the side missions where the mission was a bright sunny day and you could see them coming a mile away.
The scene when you're about the purge the rachni on Noveria is Dead Space-esque. Any mission that has Banshees makes me feel so uneasy and filled with dread.
There were some missions on the list that I agree with that did make me scary, like the abandoned mine mission and the mission at an Ardat-Yakshi monastery, but I think Project Overlord was the scariest mission that I ever went through. The truth about what happened to David is just insanely creepy. As I was playing through the mission, I heard several things mentioned regarding David’s autistic mind, so what he went through and being forced to be this rogue VI controlling the Geth made me very uncomfortable. Also, the angry digital howls in response to destroying parts of a satellite sometime at the beginning of the mission also made me a little uncomfortable because I didn’t know what those howls were while I was playing through the mission.
My top ten mass effect scary missions #1 the estevanco from mass 2 no enemies its just a ship that's about to fall down a steep ravine #2 the brain dead guy on a shuttle and his psycho gf that jumpscares ya #3 mass 2 suicide mission coming face to face with the reason why all those colonists were killed #4 clearing those two tunnels of rachni brood warriors #5 the nuke bomb trap #6 the rachni relay mission for the krogans in mass 3 #7. The strontium mule and those bodies that got skinned alive #8 fog lobsters mass 2 #9 first time seeing a cannibal ( batarian reaper troop) eat a corpse and get stronger #10 meeting leviathan underneath the ocean
I am actually able to eliminate all the Husks in the abandoned mine, and have done so multiple times on all difficulties. Is it easy, no. But it is doable, and quite rewarding when it is done.
Another creepy mission is called Broken Arrow and it is a side mission in that set to it's not hard to avoid was not easy basic leaders a crashing ship loaded with weapons the Geth unit took over and you have to go through and cleared out and pretty creepy because you can see all the dead bodies of the defenders and the fact the matter is that the Geth an old enemy of yours attacked a human ship in this verse and the fact that the ships had it for a populated colony is actually pretty creepy it's not the most disturbing but the fact is if you don't stop the ship it's in a crash into a population There is one other creepy 1 I can think of and it's the colony of the dead in mass effect 1 basically during the events of mass effect 1 you're investigating a small collie the disappears and their replaced by husk and you later find out that the entire colony was replaced by the husk after a Cerberus agent came visit the fact the matter is that we do not know what happened and the Cerberus agent was involved is just scary because we do not know how the husk got there During the events of mass effect one there's a mind you can investigate I can't remember the name of the mission but as you're investigating the crew was turned into husk and they actually found a reaper technology The entire crew was turned a husk and they were in alliance space is kind of creepy plus husk are always creeping a matter what
Easy enough to do if you don't buy the star charts from Illium. Most players probably don't do that on their first playthrough...opens up a few more side missions :-)
We are always pretty much playing ME3 multiplayer, considering at least one of us is doing a ME playthrough throughout the year. We're always up to jump into games

The creepiest thing for me is not a mission but a piece of music, it’s the music that usually plays in Mass Effect 1 when on a frigate. It’s so frikken creepy
Does anybody know the name of this song? I'm searching it everywhere

There are some side missions in ME 1 where Cerberus was experimenting with husks and thorian creepers that deserve an honorable mention, but otherwise you nailed this list!
The creepiest thing from the whole trilogy for me were those mine-lab interiors from ME1 side quests. The music there was always so... disturbing.
Yeah the original mass effect trilogy was full of creepy missions personally here are some of mine
Going to the collector base at the end of mass effect to it extremely creepy you get to see all the pause or all the trap colonist were and if you don't get there in time you actually watched some of your crew yet turn to liquid so the fact of matter is you're going through a giant tomb or hundreds of thousands of innocent colonists were turned to a giant reaper and their essence were transferred to it is very unsettling plus you can lose your entire team and just effect that this is premunt as suicide mission with all that going around you is pretty much an unnerving moment
Another moment would be going through the Cerberus base near the end of mass effect 3 and going through the terminal that you find out how much the elusive man manipulate you in mass effect 2 and the fact that all the experiments they were doing and how much they were manipulating you and picking out your crew in finding people You would sympathize with in bringing old friends to easily manipulate you to go after the collectors Keep experiments and you get to see the human labor again was very creepy
Garrus’s mission in ME1, where you’ve helped him track down Doctor Saleon. You have to kill his test subjects who have all become mindless monsters, and then his lab is covered in blood from the various species he’s “experimented” on.
The abandoned space station after you finish the rogue mechs mission.
I think the creepiest moment in Mass effect is when you wait to long on the arrival mission and the reapers come
I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite collection of missions in the series. I really loved the creepy/horror missions, first time I came across the Creepers, I back peddled so hard xD... The Shepard Shuffle, potentially more powerful than the crucible :-D
@@OuterOdyssey Haha indeed, they could of just sent Shepard shuffling his way towards the Reapers... The war would of ended with the Reapers also trying to Shepard Shuffle xD
Yeah, that introduction to ardat-yakshi mission was creepy. In my first playthrough of that mission Samara died in ME2 and it is creepier without her.
Yeah can imagine, she definitely brings a calming nature to that mission :-S
Project Overlord breaks my brain to this day...that's my number one most disturbing mission.
It's not a misión actually. But in the first mass effect the idea of exploring the planets always scares me because of those giant worms or the scary environment of loneliness or dark environment
I have only one request.....
*More ME & DA lists*
Done and done :-)
See the banshees are terrifying, but i got that monestary surprise reveal of the banshees spoiled for me because the first time I fought them was on one one the side missions where the mission was a bright sunny day and you could see them coming a mile away.
Yeah that does ruin the reveal a little, but those screams....:-S
@@OuterOdyssey oh yeah those screams piece of heart and souls of every man, woman, and child.
The scene when you're about the purge the rachni on Noveria is Dead Space-esque. Any mission that has Banshees makes me feel so uneasy and filled with dread.
Love your channel and great to see mass effect videos again. Hope to see you upload your mass effect 3 walkthrough

It is just so creepy...husks totally creep me out, especially when you hear that distant moaning before the horde hits you :-D
@@OuterOdyssey I know. Total nightmare fuel. And when I do the hardest mode of ME 2 escaping the Collector's ship, it is annoying and nightmarish.
I love that there are no dislikes on this video, 2 days later

There is one other creepy 1 I can think of and it's the colony of the dead in mass effect 1 basically during the events of mass effect 1 you're investigating a small collie the disappears and their replaced by husk and you later find out that the entire colony was replaced by the husk after a Cerberus agent came visit the fact the matter is that we do not know what happened and the Cerberus agent was involved is just scary because we do not know how the husk got there

These are all also pretty creepy missions, especially Broken Arrow
@@OuterOdyssey definitely they are pretty creepy
All of these are mission where you send your companion out ahead of you so they don’t attack you lol.
Love that acent!
WHY have I missed out on the mine in ME2?!?!
did you ever buy the star charts on illium? pretty sure that's where they are. make sure you scan every planet.
Easy enough to do if you don't buy the star charts from Illium. Most players probably don't do that on their first playthrough...opens up a few more side missions :-)
Your #1 creepy missions i my #1 creepy mission. lol
Did you buy the legendary edition?
you still do mp? want to join in on a few games? i still play.
