❤️ Mel N Mo, I am an ex military (Army) wife. I ran a 24 hour Home Day Care in Babenhausen Germany in the 90's that catered to single soldiers and dual military families. The children in my care were as young as 2 weeks of age to 12 years of Age. I had children in my home while their parents were deployed. If I lost any of my parents to war I would have to fly the children to the next of kin. Praise God I never lost any of the parents, I still have a relationship with some of those families. What a rewarding experience. Thank you both for your Service. ❤️

Thank you all for sharing this. I’m a retired military spouse. My husband said that he only wanted to do 20 years in the Army. Well we finally retired in 2020 after serving for 32 years. The military was such a blessing to our family. I never served but I did serve the families. We both went to school and got our graduate degrees and we both work for the federal government. I loved our time and we thank God for our experience.

I would always tell my Marines don't judge your military career/experience on the duty station or your direct chain of command. I always tried to help them to find a positive, so it would keep them from getting in trouble while on or off base.

I would say that I have been in school since 2016. I went to Washington State University, and then I took one semester out after I graduated and transferred to the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Being multi-ethnic Alaskan Inuit, I would say that having respect towards cultural heritage is as a pillar in my life that education made it concrete. Revolution is always happening.

Thank you both for your service! Coming from a family of Navy vets, I wanted to be a corpsman. The recruiter had other plans, so I went to college. I became an OR Nurse and trained Army reservists. My son was in his third year of college majoring in computer technology and internet security. He enlisted secretly two months after my mother passed. They offered him Intel and ETV. He Chose ETV. He didn’t want to want another day to get top secret clearance. He said he can kick himself! Any way, he completed his five years. Left a PO2. He completed is degree. Now he’s contracted with the Navy programing and fixing military satellites. The military will make or break you! It’s is a great alternative career if you can survive!

I damn near jumped out of my skin when I saw a new video posted!!!!! You guys look great. I didn't see Cairo in the mix.. must have been sleeping. Thank you both for your services. My late husband was a Marine. Even though I wasn't physically in the service, I feel like I served along with him. Unfortunately, he died while we were living in Japan. The job you both do is not easy because you both have to wear many hats- husband, wife, service member, mommy and daddy. God Bless you both.

Ty! For sharing your military stories, I really admire the fact that you two made it happen, being in a dual military marriage, and where as one remains active duty and the other finishes and moves into the civilian sector and your making it happen 👏 with love, understanding and raising your son,I personally think you both plan your future out well...and then having your son,so many accomplishments and doing your videos, wow!!! This is a team effort and you each give credit to one another!! You understand that 💯 I applaud you,both....personally speaking, as a young couple 💑 with careers and a child you made things happen with positive support and God in your life!! Thank you, both for your service....from one soldier to another.

Great video on what the military life is like today. I never served personally but I was raised on army bases and there is a huge difference from when my dad served and people today. As someone raised in that well organized environment I even struggled living among civilians. They lack order, respect, and getting work done. The allow so many things regarding race and ethnicity and other differences to divide them. For example I my best friend of 27 years that I met as a kid on base asked me about my experiences with race for the first time 2 years ago. To understand why she asked is because she is half Korean and White. Once again thank you for the video and your service.

Hello Mel n Mo, I was attracted to your channel because I saw you two were in the military. I'm a 62 year old black female who went into the Air Force at 19 yrs old in 1979-1985, as an Aircraft Electrician. I worked on C-5, C-141's and C-130's, my last base was a B-52 base. I loved my time in and wish I had stayed in. I got out to try to save my marriage to another Airman. That marriage didn't survive, but I did live my dream for six years. I really wanted to retire. My dad was Army, my brother is a US Marine, 1970-1974. I wouldn't change my time in the Air Force for anything. My late dad's oldest brother was killed on the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack. All three of my late mothers brothers served in the military. One Army, one Navy, and one retired from the Air Force. So proud of you two young people. I tell people the military is a great start. I'm a 100% disabled Veteran now. I'm also a retired Police Officer 1979-2014 from DC. God has truly been good to me. Thank you both for your service. May God continue to bless and keep your family safe.
