    At 13:29 you mention to put eye on the ball , but what if the server hides the ball with the non-playing hand almost at the point of contact

    I really think you should use different terms for these techniques. I know it varies among languages but usually "drive" is not a "topspin" or "loop". It is without spin and the more basic technique. The term "counter" is also used in some languages. But you talk about "drive" in this video when at the same time you show the players performing what is more a "top spin" or "loop". It's really very confusing.

    • @sumitguin5744
      @sumitguin5744 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Correctly said 'Drive ' is NOT 'Top Spin' or 'Loop' as played by MaLong..'Drive' is just a basic 'Counter' shot.

      There is a lot of confussion in table tennis about terminology.
      Drive with topspin.
      Topspin with loop.
      Topspin with smash.
      ...

    • @mortuc1
      @mortuc1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RobertoCostas never heard of some of those categorisations. Pls elaborate, what are the differences then?

    • @RobertoCostas
      @RobertoCostas 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mortuc1 I mean. Sometimes people confuse:
      Drive with topspin, because they are two different shots but they give the same name to both of them.
      And the same for topspin and loop, or for topspin and smash.
      There are more examples which I don't remember right now.
