There's a super loud modernized 300A in Dillard's, and a 330A in Macy's with a low pitched chime downstairs. There's 5 300A service cars and 1 330A service car
Schindler should still have the parts for that escalator, it doesn't seem too old. Apparently certain Schindler escalators had a product recall from a defective bolt in 2022 - although it's a super simple fix & should long be fixed at this point. Yeah it shows they're being a bit cheap & not bothering to fix it.
@@EEI_6236 yes it is Otis did the mod they didn't add any of their equipment on it instead they replaced the buttons with innovation universal with the acme floor indicator
Whoever created that sign "Escalator can be used as stairs" clearly doesn't understand that it MUST NOT be used as stairs. Every elevator manufacturer says that the escalators must not be used as stairs
Their insurance company would freak if they say those signs to sue the elevator as steps. Escalator steps aren't even close to being the correct height. I know that's a huge code violation here in MN.

Nice elevators with epic motors!
Awesome
EPIC MOTOR!
One of those videos is that glass 330a and I think I got a ride on it my own way
I remember seeing a train station escalator not working and they put out of order signs as their were standard stairs inbetween down and up escalators
Schindler elevators are awesome for the first one that has a really good pump

Omg first time I see a Schindler MT these are run of my favorite Schindler ones of all. It’s a shame MT fixtures don’t exist anymore 😢😢😢
good old city of Schindler City, Virginia
Tho is very nice! I bet this mall loves Schindler elevators
Yes they do :)
@@DieselDucy Question... Was that glass HT-VR Schindler 330A added in at a later date? Or was that ALWAYS there from day one.
@@NathanDavisVideosThe Schindler 330A main elevator is not original to the mall.
Anyone know what kind of steps are on the escalators at Crate & Barrel? They look like MontgomeryKONE steps.
escalators usually stop when they detect a fault.
Wow all kinds of Schindlers
It was around Christmas time all these videos were filmed
Broken escalator!! Lol!!
That’s good exercise though
i would walk up and down escalators too.
Every Schindler i've ridden has an epic motor!
That sign is interesting for sure. At least you can’t get stuck on an escalator like you can on an elevator.
Yes it was and shows that they are cheap. They actually have a sign made instead of fixing the escalator.
@@DieselDucy Yeah, either that or maybe they’re waiting for a technician to come out and fix it?
@@DieselDucythe wildeeper jeff has filmed here
Andrew, you forgot to film 2 elevators at Macy's and Dillard's
And the escalator at crate and barrel said out of order, please do not walk on
You completely forgot about Dillard's
Dillard got an insane loud motor!! That’s a modded 330a elevator

Well, the escalators are out of order, so...
I wonder what the manufacturers would think of people walking up and down ones that are running (that happens A LOT where i live)
The first Schindler elevator here seemed to run good. As for the rest well... It's a bit of another story.
You forgot to do Dillard’s & Macy*s. Nordstrom has closed in 2020.

Schindler elevator doesn’t work nice elevators
Escalators shouldn't be used as steps its always possible for brake to slip and cause injuries
