    This makes me feel grateful for the tools I've collected over the past ~5yrs. Never would've thought I had more tools than a 3rd year apprentice... although the apprentice wouldn't have my student debt!

      Kit is a strange one, I'm a firm believer in paying your kit off or it then becomes a burden as a pose to an investment.
      that said, the tool van does a great job and making you spend you money!

      @@Darrall59 I’d hate to add up my tool collection... I don’t usually buy many high end items but it still easily adds up to more than all our vehicles combined. Never owed a cent on them though - old fashioned attitude and don’t believe in unnecessary debt.

    Nice box for an apprentice that, I started out with a 2nd hand blue point 2 draw trolley that was falling apart haha

      For starting out its great, lifetime warranty! Then if you feel then ned fot snap on you can just replicate your kit for home use

    Nice tool box and tools for an apprentice. Besides air tools that would be enough for a journeyman for years to go.

    The lad should have done an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanical tech. He'd have bought every tool he'd need for less than a grand and would have earned far more than in the motor trade.

    The powerhand torch are amazing as i have one from mac but i found out sealey does that exact torch cheaper

      Literally just seen these in the sealey catologue, I'm sure they are fully plastic however!

      @@jordanwilcox4723 usually with stuff like that they are internally the same but the outside is a little different due to copy right infringements. That is unless they have a deal in place with the same supplier

    Did you say 110 quid for the snap-on light !?! Jesus that works out to be $186 Canadian, you could buy 2 for that price here. They sell them here (canada) for $90 which works out to be £53 !
    That would piss me offfff & properly did you after reading this lol

      The standard abs plastic Puck lights are way cheaper but the metal casing one is £110! Haha good old England 😂

      Snap-On is just Gucci or Louis Vuitton for mechanics.

    What tool box is this, like size or name I'm just about to start my apprenticeship and I've out grown my SGS one and this looks like a good step up

      SGS do a great longer style box, The range you would be after in Snap-on is the heritage/Classic range.

      @@Darrall59 I've looked at some of the SGS boxes but they don't seem to have as deep of draws or as many draws but if you have any recommendations they would be greatly appreciated

      @@ruebenharris3890 you can pick up a entry older snap on box like this for £1000 but other then that my recommendation would be SGS as I’ve seen their quality first hand.

      @@Darrall59 I've had a look at some snap on boxes and it's hard to tell the difference in some is this one in the video a 40" as that's what I've had my eye on most

      Rueben harris I'm sure that box is a 40 inch heritage box my 2nd tool box was that size. You can get different drawer lay outs some have long drawers instead of split into 2 drawers

      SGS do a range of cheaper alternatives to snap on. If your UK based I’d 100% give them a look

      I went the 72inch stainless steel from sgs when it was only £400 and for the 3 years I've had it, it's still going very strong. People normally stay away from cheaper boxes but they're Definitely good for a new starter or apprentice

      Halfords Advanced for everything mate, promise you cant go wrong. Ive had mine since the start of my apprenticeship, now 5 years into the trade, qualified for 2, and ive never had a single problem with anything!

      @@csmith05411 never had a single problem with anything you clearly don’t use them wrecked many Halfords torx bits a 3/8ths ratchet my quarters on it’s last legs all in the space of 7-8 months 😂

      I find the old snap on draws much stronger, on this box it's older so doesn't have the lock and slide draw opening. The box itself seems sturdy in comparison to other cheaper brands, interestingly I wasnt impressed by the mac box quality

      @@Darrall59 yea but the basic ones I have checked for around 200 dollar. Those you cant almost open and close the boxes properly. They tilt

      Halfords Advanced tool boxes are great for the money, ball bearing draws and soft close too. I just wish they did a 72”.

    Castors are anything but heavy duty. Not bad for a DIY shed if you pay under £150.

      The video is about the type kit he (as an apprentice) has in his box, my opinion is irrelevant as im not using 'his' kit?

    Hes gonna need more sockets that's.for sure. He only had.3/8 deep and 1/4 deep.
