    I've been looking for a video on a 92 Toyota Corolla. But your video will do. Thanks.

    I replaced my 1986 truck driver side regulator and it was quite easy. Made the mistake of buying aftermarket that the bolt holes did not line. It was crap. I bought online an OEM Toyota regulator. It was much sturdier built and fit perfect.

      Yep, the OE stuff is 10000% better both in longevity and fitment.

    Another great video, Broseph! 😎

    I just realized I miss those witty "subscribe....you might..." quips in the last few videos. They are your signature of sorts and it's good to have a signature. 😀. I started following you for the F250 content as a fellow owner and fan and am really starting to enjoy the little pickups as well. It has sparked a bit of nostalgia and a desire to add a an older (70s or 80s) pickup to my fleet. Not that I "need" another project, but like Lay's potato chips.... It's hard to imagine that I miss gapping points and setting the dwell but there is a certain satisfaction to working on purely mechanical systems vs. plugging in to the OBD port and tweaking a few bits in an EPROM. Please keep them coming.

      Thanks Andrew!! Hmmm, maybe you're right with the subscribe stuff. Also, from my point of view, you absolutely need another project (or two). I second the satisfaction of all mechanical stuff. I have quite a few points/carbureted things in my crazy little collection.

    Brian, your bring back memories of removing door panels on those older units for various reasons. Great idea about lubing up moving parts. Nice that you tightened bolts to factory specs! Most skip that step. Why would anyone put up with windows stuck when it is so easy to fix it!

    • @ProjectTimeGarage

    Nicely done ; did you repair the vapor barriers?!?!

    • @ProjectTimeGarage
      @ProjectTimeGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nah, I didn't bother with vapor barriers. The truck has so many other holes that it won't matter at this point. However, an upcoming project will involve re-covering the door panels, sprucing up the interior and doing some carpet. I figure I'll make barriers when that step happens.

    Any idea on how to fix the foam/rubber piece the window secured into at the bottom? I have a '80 pickup where the glass has come out. So it will roll the window up but separated when I try rolling it down. Thanks

    I have a 01 Chevy Malibu & it’s a death trap because all the widows don’t go up or down. The plastic pulleys are all broken. Good thing about it is I can’t go through the drive-thru any more & it’s good for my diet.

    I just tried replacing the driver side in my '83. The piece shown here appears to have much more of an elbow or bend in the arm than the one that I removed. I'm assuming i bought the wrong part. Does anyone have any information for an '83 regulator replacement?
