I hope this game has a mechanic like how if you beat GOI enough times the pot slowly turns gold, where every time you beat the game his loincloth gets 1% smaller.
This is probably the only game that manages to simulate holding onto the slipping rock in a fully realistic degree. In every other game with the element of climbing, I can think of, like Uncharted or Tomb Raider, little events like that are always scripted making them insultingly predictful, ruining the sense of insecurity those are initially meant to evoke. I haven't even played Climbing Over It and I can imagine myself holding the buttons desperately while slipping down, returning to the start combined with difficult control, being just the right threat for those sequences being even more stressful. For this reason alone, other than It being a really well made game, it deserves the spotlight, not just as a GOI mashup, but for it's own uniqueness

Ok, game idea, a semi rng based mountain generating climbing game, and for the controls it would us “wasd” to hold your limbs in place if they were touching the object you were climbing, and then the mouse would be used to control any free limbs, so you would hold 3 in place and move one at a time, and … I’ll add more to it when I think of it, but hopefully y’all can get the gist of it

It's a climbing game where you climb different peaks of ever increasing difficulty and height with tons of content it has been something. It has similar controls but it being first person and a story that it fun to follow it is a 100% get if you enjoy the idea of this game
It's interesting timing. I bought and played Getting Over It in 2022, won around 10 times then stopped playing until I revisited the game around 2 weeks ago and beat it 50+ times. And now I discover this game.
Ive almost finished this game at around 6h. Impressive how fast you did it. I guess getting over it skills transfer since im slightly worse than you in GOI meaning longer time for me in this game.
holy sheettttt dunno why but different from GOI, this game actually makes my leg shake, it actually is scary....... like they way he uses his hand to break fall with scratching friction sound ..... what are his hands made of ?? diamonds?? the weird joint and wrist movements... the body/arm swing to jump to another platform.. jeezzz dunno man, imma stick to GOI :)
From what I've seen but not played, it's safest to grab the dress pretty low, & swing with one hand, I think you can grab the undies without even letting go.
