For those that are interested, all players involved in the same pot must agree to run it more than once in order for it to be allowed. Meaning for the main pot because Mike X only wanted to run it once the main can only be run once. However in some casinos Mariano and Fransisco could run the side pot twice. Most likely, here on the show, there is a standing rule that all players have to agree to run it multiple times for that to be allowed (side run) to both speed up the game and avoid confusion for the viewer. If you allow the main pot to be run more than once when it’s not agreed to by all players the equities in the pot can absolutely change. For example, say there is a set over set situation where Player A who is the short stack has top set and only wants to run it once. Player B has middle set and his quad out is dead (0% equity). Player C, the other large stack has a big draw. If you allow the main pot to be run multiple times without player A (short stack) agreeing, you could have a situation where Player B gets half the main pot if Player C wins the first run, killing Player A’s hand then the second run bricks. Obviously Player B should never be able to win half the main having 0% equity.

I can’t help but think that a shove by Mariano pre-flop would have eliminated this outcome. I think Francisco can find a fold with two solid opponents shoving in front of him.
Yea, I think once Mariano calls Mike's jam and then gets jammed on, QQo is likely a fold.. Francisco's smooth call re-jam range should be very nutted.. of course seeing the hands, we know he's 2/3 favored to win against those exact holdings but... High variance plays, man..smh P.S. QQs snap call..
francisco is not good enough to cold call a 3bet on the bu with KK+ 46k eff (actually think not a lot of players will cold call here since its utg open and 3b from utg1, those are very strong ranges). he will play it straighforward and 4b here. if he has like 15k or so, then he maaaaaybe he will cold call a 3b with kk/aa on the bu. and after mariano calls the allin, francisco snap jams. so it is allready unlikely francisco have KK+ here as played and even if there is a small % he will have kk+ he will not snap jam, he either min 5bet or he will take some time (figiuring whats better, should i min raise, or just jam?) and then go allin. never a snap jam imo. so as played qq is a snap call and hence the main reason mariano firmly said he wanted to run it once, cause he tought francisco will have tt-jj most of the time untill he saw francisco have ak and then he changed his mind and wants to run twice, cuz hes not that a super favor vs ak (mike didnt show his hand yet)
Question: after the dealers shuffles does it go into one of those automatic shuffling machines? Cause some of these hands seems ridiculous, in a great way for entertainment, but absolutely horrifying for a player… as a viewer I love it.
Everyone slating Mariano for wanting to run it twice and claiming he only said that after he saw they both had AK, what does that have to do with it? The reason he wanted to run it twice was just to lessen variance. It has nothing to do with his opponents cards, he was a heavy favourite so what difference does that make? Even if he isn't a favourite he'd still want to run it twice to reduce variance. I think he just realised what a big pot it was and decided he was more comfortable spreading the risk, it's as simple as that.
This is what it looks like when u play not properly rolled, Mariano looking like he is going to pass out over a normal one buy in no limit flip. Keeps it up will be broke, let this be a lesson for others, play within your means or greed will sit u down.
What you're saying doesn't make sense. If they are blocking each other, he have better odds so why run it twice? He just changed his mind after few seconds when he realized its a big pot.
If you feel uncomfortable running it only once, then play smaller. It's not fair to expect someone that can actually afford to play the stake to run it twice to lessen your variance.
Mike X is true to his words, he only ever runs it once. No matter if he is behind or ahead, is always once for him never twice. You don't even have to ask him is because is always going to be once.
I really don't get why Mike after seeing Francisco had the same hand as him, why wouldn't he then decide to run it twice? He knows he has less outs now, and now has to just dodge what Mariano was holding.

@@user-qb3vi5kk3t after my recent bad run i started believing poker is just not fair . Was thinking of quitting my dream . But somehow this hand made me believe to ride the variance and keep your head up . Lesson learnt. We all need a bit of luck 🤩
@@fazsiddiqui7152 or may be you’re just playing bad :)
High variance plays, man..smh
The look when kids play above their means
No worries, he get's it back and some from Garrett the next day.
Mariano must be. On a downswing or tight with cash, used to act like such a balls and always run once now lose 30k feels like a big deal lol
That poker folk! Bad beat happen all the time. . you either taker the hit and move on or quit if you can't mental handle it!
Or financially handle it
Everyone slating Mariano for wanting to run it twice and claiming he only said that after he saw they both had AK, what does that have to do with it? The reason he wanted to run it twice was just to lessen variance. It has nothing to do with his opponents cards, he was a heavy favourite so what difference does that make? Even if he isn't a favourite he'd still want to run it twice to reduce variance. I think he just realised what a big pot it was and decided he was more comfortable spreading the risk, it's as simple as that.
Poker is a game of skill! So much skill involved in this hand! That's why the top 10 pros win the WSOP main event every year!
One of the few times I've seen Lauren have trouble counting out the pot.
Y’all focus on the dumbest stuff
Honestly I don’t like watching Mariano play because he plays so tight
mariano is one of the most aggro poker vloggers out there
He only show aggressive poker on his videos but last livestream he showed that he is so tight. U guys all know
@@minka1560 yeah probably the stakes are too high for him.
Definitely is a nit and quite frankly he’s boring to watch, just a knock off of rampage.
@@minka1560 He only shows aggresive poker on his hundreds of youtube videos but he's actually a nit? What you just said makes no sense
This is what it looks like when u play not properly rolled, Mariano looking like he is going to pass out over a normal one buy in no limit flip. Keeps it up will be broke, let this be a lesson for others, play within your means or greed will sit u down.
How’s that all in at 9:00 when that’s like not even 10% of his child but it says he has only 30K or so in the game
Mariano wanted to go once until
Seen they were blocking each others outs lol then it’s not always one time for him haha
What you're saying doesn't make sense. If they are blocking each other, he have better odds so why run it twice? He just changed his mind after few seconds when he realized its a big pot.
He realized that winning 1 out of 2 still bring him about 7k profit as there is 3 way all-in. And also big chance to win both runs
Doesn't make sense idiota. If they are blocking each other that's better for Mariano
If you feel uncomfortable running it only once, then play smaller. It's not fair to expect someone that can actually afford to play the stake to run it twice to lessen your variance.
I dont get it,by the time there is a side pot between mariano and Francisco why all of the players have to agree running twice??????
its a rule of hustler casino, all players all in need to agree to it. since mike never runs it twice there is no agreement between all 3 players
Mariano says once and after seeing AK he say's he prefer going twice. that's why he lost. poker god got mad with Mariano.😆
What a dream spot for queens quickly turned into a nightmare. Idk about others but idk rather see a King or ace on the turn or river then runner runner to put 4 to the flush. Eapically when you got the Q of hearts. Ouch 🤕
Sometimes you just gotta folld preflop unless you want to gamble that much
That what he gets for taking like 10 mins
Based on his reaction, Mariano playing above his BR
The bankroll management rules change drastically when being a content creator who’s content is based around these games
Yeah Mariano acted like this was a big chunk of his savings. This seems a bit too high of stakes for him. Definitely not the way G Man would have reacted.
Yeah , he's not rich just a good player !
probably more so the downswing he’s been on. I’m sure he’s not properly rolled but he can afford it for sure.
Mariano, what a sparkling personality, like a pile of sullen damp gravel. His energy is misplaced. Not good for HCL
Sullen damp gravel? Wth kinda insult even is that? 😂😂😂 He’s down 200k these past two months, chill on my guy
@@datstudkillacam6046 🤣I was needling the guy a bit no hard feelings, look, dudes a great player, but HCL is “a reality show” to quote DGAF, and the camera doesn’t love everyone. Needs to stop lumping up against the table head in hands dour expression. Its a live stream, part of the requisite skill set is possessing a modicum of style and ability to project to an audience. No diss to his card skills, but I’d rather watch Stanley Tang 🤣play for “fun”
I love seein Mariano gettin wrecked!
honestly curious why anyone hates this guy?
@Paul it's a natural human response to success. When people see others are successful, it makes them feel bad about their own life, so they want to tear them down
@@Chocobohunter yeah, I guess maybe jealousy explains it? the thing is, there are plenty of people in the poker world who are douches, and I understand wanting to see them fail, but Mariano is like the most chilled-out person ever
It makes absolutely no sense why Francisco and Mariano needs Mike x approval to run twice for the side pot when Mike x is only involved in the main pot. Absolutely nonsense ruling that all 3 players must agree to run more than once when only 2 players have money in the side pot. Seems to me that the dealer f'ed up and forgot that there was a big side pot. Some are saying that it's too avoid confusion for the viewers. Pffft.
Yea that was odd fur sure.
If you're planning to call a shove...then just shove yourself, especially with pocket queens.
Why do I have to skip through a long clip just to get to the video I clicked on
Francisco's carotid artery trying to leave his soul on first hand
harsh reality of being a poker pro
mariano is worried about running bad when he should be worried about getting committed with queens in a pot that's too big for him. just calling there is a strange, strange move. surely you know your hand looks fairly face up at that point and you no longer rep aces or kings as a part of your possible holdings
Anyone else see Francisco move the Button @ the end of the hand to his right so he got to be the Button twice. Sketch.
Mariano tanking for 4-5 mins was unnecessary. He’s never folding for that amount in that situation with pocket Queens.
hes tanking whats the best play because francisco still in the hand with 43k or so eff.
flat to lure francisco in? reraise to iso and just get hu vs mike.
Francisco never raise the flop with flush draw, he should cold call this flop and donks the turn for a good bluff
at the end there it looks like the face of someone who took a swing and forgot about bankroll management
That posturing was unnecessary tho. Kinda deserve it when he fake tank so long to get Francisco to reshove.
IDK why but I'm a Mike X fan.
lol
uuhhhhh, that is great. I appreciate that
@@mikexpoker3275 are you the real mike x?😳

Is it Luda or Mariano that is the most down on the stream in total out of anyone that has every played on Hustler?
1 hand 21 minutes? Don´t wanna see it!
If Mariano Jams does Francisco ever fold? With a 4 bet all in from Mike and 5 bet all in from Mariano I feel like Francisco would let his $2400 go and Mariano holds against Mike
He tilts better than I do I woulda flipped my chair and woulda had to take a walk or leave. And that playing 1 -2. Jk but o woulda be way more pissed
mariano deserves to lose for tanking forever with qq
He's a good player, but i hate those players, i saw him tank when he'll 100% folding .
I really was happy he lost this pot for the same reasons as u
I've became so accustomed to watching poker with the "shot clock", that watching these games is so boring with people taking a few minutes to make a decision. 😴
I am pretty sure that Mariano know how bad that downswing is 😂😂
Francisco wanted a video
Hang in there kid in the end u will get them both- they r not good players they r gamblers. Good luck to u and stay strong and keep grinding! 🙏🏼
There’s a difference but not by much
lol Mariano is the most likely to go broke on this table. Professional poke player lol.
@@haranglouis5252 haha...no. lol
Bad call Mariano! You have to go all in there
You put 100k on a table you better be ready to lose it all. I don’t even like having 800-1000$. Playing 1-2 $200 or match buy in. Hours of good play is gone with 1 cooler or unlucky flip. right Mariano?
