      1500 dollars + shipping etc for sthals hat press is a hard pill to swallow. Or pads of Amazon or a foam pad but you gonna longer pressing temp. Here another cheat heat up cap platen like white tone transfer pressing and pad and your gold you video are clamming low key I binged watch earlier 🤫

    What’s the name of the hat press?

  • @pamcraftsandtreats

    what font are you using. tried to do a hat with small letters and the letters especially the I was coming up with the design. any suggestions?

    • @JasperGrey
      @JasperGrey  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd def recommend using any bold san serif fonts.. For the super small fonts thats on top and bottom of the circle.. i used open sans at like a 7.6 pt. If you're using htv and its lifting after you press, I'd def wait a little bit before removing the carrier sheet or go super slow when removing the carrier sheet.

    We have the same issue with the heat marks, have had complaints from a couple customers. Did you ever figure out how to get rid of those?

    • @JasperGrey
      @JasperGrey  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I reduced the pressure and it helps a lot, however I did recently just pick up a foam from stahls that I haven't tried yet but will do a video on it soon.

    Great video bud! I use some heat resistant foam on the inside of the cap that helps with eliminate the press marks

    • @JasperGrey

      @@JasperGrey nah, i took some silicon rubber thats heat resistant (1cm thick) then i cut a teflon pillow open and took the foam from it that i put just behind the cap :)

    So 310 with film for about 10 seconds, take off and them press the full 30 seconds?? I'm trying to figure it out. Lol. Tried one hat so far with no stick. Lol. I don't think the heat press I bought is working right tho, tbh. I should bought it new. SMH.

    • @JasperGrey
      @JasperGrey  ปีที่แล้ว

      Naaa, I really only press it for 5-10 seconds and peel then 10 seconds after. I’d recommend getting a infrared thermometer gun to make sure your press is at the right temp. And if it’s too hot and too long, it won’t stick either.
