One way to laminate the larger items using the school’s thin laminating is to laminate them twice. So laminate it like usual & then rough cut around the pieces so you can run them back through again. It will then be thicker.
You can also then use an iron & wax paper to make sure the laminate sticks well.

If you can't paint your nook by the brick papered wall, the cheapest thing to use to cover it would be a twin bed flat sheet in whatever color you choose and can be found in discount stores. They're easy to hang up and staple and can be taken down and washed to rehang next year. I covered a huge back wall in my classroom one year with two king size sheets from floor to ceiling.

Try laminating the big sheets of the calendar numbers first and then cut with a cutter. You can laminate big things in Lakeshore or in any office store. It will same you soo much time and money, too. Just wanted to say you are so sweet! I am sure your students will love you. Can't wait to see how your room turns out.

Dry erasable marker would solve the problem with the writing on the board. Just go over it and erase it right away.

I promise to do an update! But I've always been in Texas! No we aren't adopting again.

No. I made an update on instagram one day but I'm planning on doing a life update on here soon. I'll just go ahead and tell you though. It is probably very shocking news.😌 But Dakota and I are getting a divorce. We have been separated since February.
