It's cool, but it does not look like it will do anything that my current Samsung smart TV won't do....am I missing something? Nice though, and a good price too. Great video.
Well the video you just watched was edited on that and I'm pretty sure you can't do that on your Samsung TV. I also believe you don't have access to the Google Play store through Samsung as I believe they use Tyzen interface. The reality is this box can completely replace your computer I don't know that I be comfortable saying that about a TV. If your mindset is just the stream then I agree but this is one piece of equipment at a good price that can replace multiple others.
@thefrugalhomestead7873 I agree completely. It's just that I have 2 computer systems in our studio that are less than 10 feet from our main TV. We never really had any reason to use our TV as a computer. If we did, I would certainly buy one of these.

Yep I'm not sure if it will have you download it through there app store thhe Play store or you have to side load it but I would see no reason you can't put it on there
I got the same product, any chance there a way to modify or hack the interface to fully costumize it. And also how can i install apps that are not available in playstore.
You can side load like any other android box as fast as customize there are multiple ways to set it up built-in. But
You can look for apps called Android TV loader or TV launcher Smart TV. On playstore
Firestick 4k max 2nd generation is way better smoother and faster cheap os installed on them.
It's $10 more expensive
Only has 2 GB of RAM
Only has 16 GB of ROM
No USB support out the box.
Does not support any kind of editing software
Plus every other screen of the fire stick is an ad.
If you watch the video completely I showed all the different things these boxes can do The video you just watched was edited on that box. Can't do that on a fire stick.
