If you're talking about the 2nd TV screen at 13:22, I don't think that's Luigi. Old CRTs could easily decieve players visually on what they're seeing or making out with their vision, and it could've just looked like a green Mario/Luigi from that angle on that type of screen. Plus the video quality of the recording is not all that good by today's standards.

The Gigaleak data hasn't been fully parsed or documented yet, some person was restoring proto AI but they were being all secretive about it. We’ll find out more when someone else does it publicly.

They don’t do it anymore, there’s also a strong millennial childhood bias towards the games that get investigated. AFAIK the newer the game the more complicated it is (minus simpler indies) so less hacking and modding happen to them, in that process unused data is unearned.

My copy of Ocarina of Time I would play for hours and hours every day, just exploring as much as I could until I had every part of the world laid out in my head, but still felt like there were mysteries out there to discover. When you're a kid things like games being datamined doesn't really matter, but once you're older you're actually conscious of that stuff. There's also the game series that, say what you will of its quality later on, I still think was the most exciting and mysterious of any early on. Experiencing the first few FNAF games as a kid gave me that same feeling but on a whole communal level, basically like what I assume gaming culture was before internet, because of the sheer amount of un-dataminable mysteries; secret images and words that could only be seen by upping the saturation, constant teasers through the website with hidden codes that I would eagerly wait for people to figure out, tons of tiny bits of the story spread out vaguely, left to interpretation, 1 in a million events that were constantly faked or would turn out real, you get the idea.
Actual in-game footage of Luigi exists, incredible. The stage also looks like one of the stages found in the gigaleak, albeit with the green squares colored red.

To be honest though I can see the red color that fades to green when they pan the video I’m guessing the quality of the camera with the tv monitor made it seem like it was Luigi but it’s just Mario from my understanding of seeing it
@@shyguy85 I’ll admit it’s not a particularly difficult mistake to fix, and I can’t really claim this hurts the original artistic intent as this show seems purely for entertainment, but it’s a mistake nonetheless, and because this mistake is so subtle it’s going to permanently distort how people will view this footage for decades to come.
