(I was seriously injured in military and 5 back surgeries and fusion the Va said I cannot work ever again) I did receive a response and in about 6 months activity began for me, I lived in poverty from 2013-2016 made 411$ a month, had to be on welfare as I had 2 children,but it got resolved in the end. If you are in real and true need with good reason contact your representatives, they do answer. Don’t yell, be calm and explain the situation.
