I'm glad that you brought up Chewie because I think we might end up finally having the Definitive Chewie in my opinion. Also I find it ironic That not only we have ANH Leia and R2 But it's really sweet how they're finally Giving the fans Han Obi Wan And Luke also From ANH That everybody and their grandmother asked for so the Original crew is building up.
Yeah it's great that tvc are getting some new ep4 figures but its the new obi wan I'm hyped for.
If the head sculpt is anything like the crappy last jedi carded 5poa obi wan(rubbish articulation with a great sculpt)
then it's a 100% pick up👍
For sure!! I'm really excited for a better Chewie, although I really wish he would have been 100% all new. His arms are ok, but I think his hands could be better and benefit from hinges at the wrist. It's definitely nice to finally see proper updates for the ANH mains, as it's been forever and a day. ✨👌😃✌️✨

They really have gone all out with this one and they've done their homework in terms of the design work. They've clearly been building to this with all their attempts to make diorama pieces over the years and I think that work with things like the Boba/Jabba's Palace or smaller pieces we haven't seen yet like the Armourer's forge and the Tantive IV set really helped them prepare for such a massive undertaking.
It's a big gamble of course because this is the first non-vehicle TVC Haslab so the question is how many people want dioramas VS only wanting vehicles? The good thing is it of course isn't just a diorama there are figures involved and it's a combination of familiar faces and more importantly ones that have never been done which is always the number 1 thing or one of them that people have asked for. This is another sign of Hasbro answering the call and prayers. The question is can they keep it up?
I know there's been mixed feelings about TVC this year due to the fact this year has mostly been a repack and repaint year and it's left a lot of people concerned and they have a right to because Hasbro or whoever has been treating TVC and 3.75 like it's second rate even though it is the original scale and will always stand the test of time. But at the same time I think a lot of that was because there were two Haslabs in a row and a lot of work went into them. Given that next year is light on content for Disney+ they could use that time to work on building out these two Haslabs and maybe anything else they've been meaning to get too.
I said when it was delayed this allowed people to walk back a little bit and think of their priorities for their collection and what they want out of it at this point. The good thing is like I said before is that individual human beings always have a choice. And that choice should be determined by you the person where if you think this is needed for your collection then it's in your best interest to back now before you regret it as it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. But if you don't feel you need it then nobody's forcing you to buy it either. It is a lot to ask for mainly if you're someone who collects mint on card figures.
I said this also earlier in Star Wars Santa's little live reaction to the news: If you are an OT fan and only an OT fan now is the time to put your money where your mouth is. This is what you've wanted and waited for. Now to prove to Hasbro you really wanted it. If you want OT in TVC more of it then this how you do it.
And by backing the Haslab and also the pipeline reveals this really puts a dent in March Madness which is of course always a good thing because not only does it allow for more opportunities and variety but it again shows Hasbro is listening albeit they can be slow on the uptake sometimes. I don't know whose fault that is really if it's them, Lucasfilm or just toy investors and the people who sell their products like a Walmart or the comic book stores or whatever. But when they do something right and listen then it should be acknowledged.
The Vintage Collection would never have come back if it weren't for the devotion of the fans and channels like Yours, Tim, OnlyOneKenobi and the SWTVC podcast for keeping people updated all the time and sharing honest feedback.
And of course also congrats to Victoria from Victoria's Cantina as well who has been passionately banging the drum for the Tonnikas for years and now they are finally here. Again proving the perseverance, passion and dedication will be rewarded in the end so long as you never give up the fight. As they say in Galaxy Quest "Never give up. Never surrender."
I don't know how it's honestly going to go but if this community has shown me anything is that even in the darkest of times something always comes along to help remind people why TVC and 3.75 the heritage scale will always reign at the top.
I can't back it for reasons I've stated many times in the past I wish I could but alas I have to sit it out but I will be following developments like I did with the Ghost and I wish everyone the best of luck. Let's do it again 4th time in a row TVC.

I totally believe the SW team has learned a lot from the past world building sets like the Tontine IV, Bunker, Throne Room and Navarro Cantina, plus the sensational items like the Crest and Ghost. Their sculpting work and product engineering is impressive, no doubt. It will be interesting to see how an environment piece like this does as a Haslab, I have noticed people sharing concern about the price, but also that it doesn't look "complete." Which I understand, but given how these items are casted, there will always be exposed areas on the back of them, and I personally think this looks great. Sure it's possibly not a glorious as a full ship, but I can't wait to add some floor, and ceiling pieces to finish it out, plus lights!
Also as I stated in the video the figures have me the most hyped!! A total of 6 100% newly-tooled figures is really impressive, especially for deep cut characters like that. ✨🤘😁🤘✨

Awesome that's great to hear!! I am always supportive of TVC projects, and I hope the figure tiers are all unlocked! The recent Throne Room set that was a Pulse Exclusive was rumored to have been a Haslab. It's a really great piece, but this Cantina is definitely top notch though. ✨🙌😎🙌✨

That would have been nice!! For the most part I think it's a decent amount of figures. A total 6 all new figures if we smash all the tiers, and molds are expensive in terms of tooling costs, and the lower production runs due to it being a Haslab make the price tag hefty for this whole offering. 👊😎🤘
Sense you are buying both the deluxe and standard editions would your consider selling the cantina from the standard edition because it is already included in the deluxe version?
I'm not sure what I plan on doing with it to be honest. Most likely I will hold on to it, and maybe even use part of it like a single alcove for a Mando display? How cool would it be if we could actually get Peli, Dr. Mandibles or Toro Calican? 🙌✨👽✨🙌
Your best bet is just buying one. The figures alone will more than pay for the price of the set if you sell them, as they're going to be very rare and sought after the way it's looking
I said yes i couldn't miss out plus them twins so i got the deluxe set had too ,,,plus i got mostly all the cantina figures I've been holding on for years now they have a Boom Boom room 😂👍💯

Hello, is there a chance you could do me a huge favor.. do you have The Vintage Collection Boba Fett Tusken figure and the new phase 1 vintage collection clone trooper? I want to know if the phase 1 clone helmet is to small to fit on the Tusken boba fett head. The head that comes on the phase1 clone is way to small and it bothered me so I want to know if that helmet will fit on tusken fett head so I don't have to buy the figure and have it end up not working out
Yeah it fits. The new P1 helmet isn't perfect as it shows some of the chin on all of the figures, but it fits very well on Tusken Fett ✌️😎😎✌️

What missed opportunities 😢
Yeah sounds and lights would be cool, but they mentioned during the Ghost campaign that this features are temporary, and they prefer to focus on details. It does look like there's a lot of options to easily customize this with lights and stuff.
I'm fairly certain there will be some 3rd party sellers offering cardboard floors, and I was totally hoping we would see a blue snaggletooth. I made a mock up for a wishlist post on my Instagram, give me all of the Snivvians ✨👌😃✌️✨
Hey Dude, I was wondering why should they charge 15€ for the shipping cost as per Hasbro Pulse statement the shipping cost is free for orders over 70€ value? Furthermore the European backers have to pay 90€ a piece extra comparing the USA backers...no matter if all these items are made in China and not in USA?? What's matter with these greedy gredoos??
I'm not sure, the box is likely going to be rather large, but in terms of how they price those logistics is beyond me. I have the Pulse Premium account as it was worth it for free shipping on the Ghost. ✌️😎😎✌️

Hasbro never gives you the full thing, but at the end of the day I am happy to not have to scratch build this environment, and I can easily build a floor and ceiling 🤘😎

While I was initially excited I feel this one is just a cheap money grab based on fan hype.
I don't see the value I have to cough up 585 euro's to get the 'deluxe' premium version.
With all figures backed that's 120 euro's for the fights so what 465 euro's for some walls and stickers?
For that money you can get a 3d printer and do it yourself + (half) the figures won't even be exclusive to it anyways.

Yeah I totally hear you. The Deluxe has more tables, drink ware and chairs, which is cool. But the additional unique alcoves with the hunting trophies on the wall, are really cool details in my opinion. I appreciate that movie set detail and types of accuracies. Is it a bit overpriced? Sure, but Haslabs be Haslabs, and I am happy to not have to scratch build this environment, or 3D print it with awful filament lines and I can easily build a floor and ceiling to really make this come to life.
Would I have been more excited for The Marauder and Clone Force 99? Perhaps. But it will be nice to have a proper setting for all of our Cantina Patrons, and what's really important is that this is the first Hasblab that has 6 all-newly tooled figures, that's impressive given how challenging it is for us to beg for new-tools. While 3 of them "might" make it into the mainline, that's no guarantee. 👊😎🤘
No 3d print is going to look anywhere near as nice as this. That's coming from someone with 3d printing experience.
The cantina looks unfinished.
It is a digital render and prototype, so it could end up with a touch more weathering. Hasbro also never gives you the full thing with floors and a ceiling. I am happy to not have to scratch build this environment, or 3D print it with awful filament lines and I can easily build a floor and ceiling 🙌✨👽✨🙌
Bruh, buy 2 base cantinas instead. 2 base stations = 1 deluxe cantina, extra bar, extra decal sheet and 2 sets of figures for $800 instead of paying $900 for 1 deluxe and 1 base cantina. I have spoken.
I was thinking the same. You could file off the connectors as they are mirror pieces on the deluxe not identical and not join the walls. The problem is the back corner pieces as they are angled. You can’t simply use those pieces from 2 basics and make it look right

Yeah, fortunately a floor is the easiest thing to scratch build, and if they had made a floor for this it likely would have caused it to be far less modular 🤘😁🤘✨

It's a big ask for sure. The high price is mainly due to the 6 all new figures. New molds are expensive in terms of tooling costs, and the lower production runs (due to it being a Haslab) also bumps the price up as they are not able to sell as many units.
