This video was 1000% color graded to give it its awesome look. They didn't mention how, yes, they shot native on the phone, but heavily color graded afterwards.

Far and away the best review of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. You covered the features video makers want to know about, and you did it entertainingly with great production values. I couldn't agree more - you can take the 12 Pro Max out of the box and get photo and video results that would require lots of fiddling and post-processing with a DSLR.

Rebel sl2 with a kit lens and a 50mm. A Nd filter and a budget dji gimbal or a cheap steadycam! Perks over an iphone: Less price. More Dynamic Range. More control over the footage. Way way more bokeh.Lot less lens breathing. Please stop misleading beginners by suggesting an iphone over a dslr/mirrorless.

Or you could just buy a used m4/3 camera like the Lumix G85 with integrated sensorshift for 250 bucks, slap vintage m42 glass on it or adapt Canon glass an you will be at roughly 1/3 of the price of an iPhone with much better performance and value, leaving 2/3 of your money in your pocket which you can then still spend on a cheaper version of the iPhone or Android or.. just save it.
iphone 12 pro max has a better camera, better low light, mic, 60 fps 4k dolby hdr, not to mention a built in wide angle lens, 2.5 telephoto lens, lidar scanner, and it can all be airdropped to my MacBook into final cut pro within minutes lol AND it fits in my pocket. not to mention, I upgraded from a iPhone 7. so yeah, I think I got better value this way.
I would love to see a comparison between this and the Samsung Note Ultra 20. I'm loving the ease of use and the image quality of the Samsung. I wish the iPhone would get rid of the stupid round edges of their phone.
The reason one should go for DSLR always because it helps you analyse things in a more mature and scientific fashion. For any video to come out as cinematic you have whole lot of post production as well to deal with. Any camera with Iphone budget will give you similar output or rather better. Its the post production that matters. The only advantage i think apple has its portability as of now.
It’s not logical to compare the battery life of the 12 pro max vs the 11 pro you should have compared it to the 11 pro max and in that case it’s Considered as a downgrade for the battery life only but other than this it’s an upgrade

Potato Jet made has a video about that and at the end of the video, he compared it with the Iphone. But I also want a more complex video about ZV1 vs Iphone 12

I don’t know how to explain it but people can feel the difference not so much tell but feel the difference. A bigger censor gives you a better watching experience even if you can tell the difference....another video they should make is pro vs beginner have the beginner with the iPhone and the pro with a zv1 heheh see what happens
