The coat rack is nice, but with your skills, I would have taken a picture, made one myself, using the exact paint color you are using.

Love that you want to have custom made pieces in your AirBnB. Something you could do is get a binder and put a photo of each piece with the business card of who made it for your guests in case they want to get one of their own. It's a way for small businesses to support each other. That rug was a steal, can't wait to see where you put it!

I know...but I meant that little thing, with the plant, the beads...you, your mom, & grandma could get together & do strings of beads while you get together for visits!

I'd shop thrift stores and garage sales to furnish your Airbnb. You'll be able to find everything to furnish kitchen down to silverware and the pricing will be soooo much better!!!
Be sure to put a anti-slip mat under that rug if you use it on hard surface floors...😊👍
I have a rug that is strikingly similar to the one you purchased. I am the 4th generation owner. A relative became a religious Brother assigned to Africa and brought this home. It was gifted to me through my Mèmér. I hope you enjoy decorating with yours.🌷🌷
What a haul. Fantastic. I think that if you see something you really like you can take a picture and reproduce the item. With your skills, tools, paint and space you could make one for each place. Great job! Love to see when the fall show will be.

I recommend that you see if there is a textile expert or appraiser in your area and take that rug to them for a look-over. If it's is a hand-woven rug from the Middle East, it's worth well more than $25 and you would NOT want to put it into the Air BnB where it would be subject to abuse or even theft.

Love all the things there. I wish I were closer so I could visit that place. I think the things you got are really cool. The thing with the turquoise design and the hooks is unusual and I think it could also be used in the bathroom for towels, robes etc. I can not wait to see what you do with the Air B&B.
What a wonderful flea market! Here in Wisconsin we have the Elkorn flea market and I'm going on Sat with a friend! You are very eclectic in your style! Do love the mid century chairs you past up but I'm sure you will find just the right things! Hunting is the most fun!

Cool place (like a swap meet?) -- but definitely think with your combined crafts skills/designer's eye, you could easily design a 4-hanger wood piece (seemed a little pricey, not totally symmetrical), and beads on jute are so easy. The rug was a great find.
You could always increase the height of the "coffee" stand. Love following this journey!

A trick is to get cards and you can go to them to get it cheaper often because they are thinking about haveing to add booth cost on to the items to reach a profit.

There is a HUGE market in Texas called First Monday in Canton TX you might want to check out in your travels, its held on the first Monday weekend every month.
Great place, but you really could make all of the items you bought, except maybe the macrame plant hanger!! Looked like a great place!

Looks like so much fun! With your Cricut, some very basic (and cheap) craft supplies, and some help from TH-cam, you could make so many things for your AirBNB that won’t look homemade.
That looked like such a cool venue and outing. Wish they had something like that near us.
I love Junkstock! Such a fun event with music, food, and vintage finds plus handmade items too.
Get an inexpensive rug padding at Ollie's for your rug. Will stop slippage, which you don't want anyone to get hurt.

Oh, and macrame is so satisfying to make yourself, you can pick the beads and the hemp and the hanging circle thingie plus there's different types of knots and it's so cool to see your creation! Try it!

This reminds me of when the Recycled Life visited the Nebraska Junk Jaunt a few years ago, this year it is in September on the 23, 24 and 25th and if it is not too far away from you try to visit. Selena and Laura had a lot of fun.

Oriental vintage rug is lovely. The old rugs (with pads) are knockout on hardwood floors. Please consider keeping your eye out for them.

This isn't about this video, but have you read the concerns about having a claw foot rub in an Airbnb? People are saying they've been to airbnbs with that and hated it, because the shower curtain always blows in and touches them and it feels slimy, and they have no idea if it was washed. They suggest just doing a large tiled shower, with a possible built in seat and built in shelves for shower items, in the tile. Good luck.

So SUPER HAPPY you didn't buy those tiny/smaller wooden items!
In case you're interested, Amazon sells macrame ropes of various sizes & the same for the beads!
On your downtime, you could make your own bead strands & plant hangers(with decorative knots & beads/or no beads!).
Rack was pretty, but can be made easily, with paint sticks and small square dowels or furring strips. Hope the beads didn’t cost more than $4 cause that cost of material and please learn to macrame,very easy to learn.
Hi. My son suggested you have furniture in the air bnb that you have already redone, and have a price ready. You will likely have viewers stay and want to leave with a piece of your furniture.
