A Muslim and a carpenter myself, I appreciate and admire your meticulous approach to this project.
The more time spent in preparation, the better the end result.
Well done guys.
My name is Saalim. I'm a Muslim and carpenter/woodworker myself from the U.S.
@@sabdulhay8819any chance I'd get an invitation to the US 😅
the fact that the royal family of Qatar orders some of its furniture from a shop in Calgary is crazy at times to me.
It's crazy to us too!
Well, Qatar is a small desert island in the Persian gulf. There are zero natural resources besides oil. They don’t even have fresh water. I think their only export is oil. I assume they have to import everything.
Royalties be scrolling youtube like the rest of us.
Design-wise you could have shaped the feet of the stands as cresent moons and have the pillars star-shaped.
That's not the case nowadays and they don't have oil they have gas @@michaellee9883
I’m not even remotely muslim but I would be honored to do what you did there. I would really put my all in to it and treat it with serious respect. That has to be so validating for your career.
Royal family of Qatar is not the most moral entity out there, of course it has nothing to do with being or not being a muslim. Tax evasions, terrible immigrant workers practices, blackmailing, murders inside the family, imprisonment of their own female family members... But hey, if they pay, they are good clients.
Not really. Every walk of life should reject evil.
@@codewalters it’s my job to love everyone. Like my mentor Jesus said “may he who is without sin cast the first stone.”
Yup Zionism is pure evil@@codewalters
@@codewalters the only evil is the one claiming evil on another. Ur the evil in the world brother, may god guide you.
So great to see your company recognized on this kind of level! Well deserved as the quality of work, but lets be honest, the quality of character that the team presents on each build is getting the attention it merits. Congrats BFW Co. on this build!
Thank you so much Keith! It feels incredible to have our work recognized by royalty!
@@BlackForestWoodCo Aw, thanks BFW but I'm not royalty......just a dude relaxing on his couch.
I'm kidding, haha. I bet it feels awesome....another great build!
Oh yess! so true to the point! big applauds to you guys! so proud of you! congratulations and God bless you! What i truly admire about Black Forest is that they display the true process of great craftmanship and that is something that inspires me and every craft maker that views your wonderful videos! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
It is always very rewarding to watch craftsman and their company produce absolutely top quality products from knowledge and experience learnt over many years. The pride demonstrated in your products is outstanding and deserves to be recognised. Keep up the beautiful work and thank you for sharing your products with the global audience.
@@BlackForestWoodCoMashaAllah! Imagine, when people use these to read or even store Qurans, you are getting benefits! SubhanAllah!
Each letter has 10 blessings...
That is a truly beautiful Koran Stand. Complex, yet simple and elegant. 👍😎🤘👊🤙 Much respect from Fiji 🇫🇯
Thank you very much!
A pedestal for our Holy Book, you are truly doing a great job complimenting the beauty of God's compiled words with your craftsmanship ❤
I remember as a kid when I started reading the quran with a teacher. The "Rahl" (Quran stand) I got as a gift was a cherished item from my teacher, sadly I don't have it now.
Not only are you all true craftsmen, but artisans in your own right!
Stunning pieces! ❤
Thank you so much!
Im a sucker for walnut builds. The material just looks so good when finished. The stands came out beautifully.
Agreed!
I used to read the Quran, from my phone every time. But with this kind of master piece, I should try reading it on the real book. 👍🏽🙂
Brother you don't need expensive or luxurious stands to read the word of Allah.
appreciate the respect and workmanship behind this project. Wish your team continued success. Always love it when I see humankind get along. Kind of sick of the media brainwashing us to hate others
Y’all should have used black screws on the riser part 19:40
Price is no object. Question is where does the money come from🤔🤔🤔. Sure didn't work for a single dollar.
@@ronallen6578 you seem upset. multiple comments under multiple other users all of which it is just you being negative for no reason. Kind of gives the idea you're a miserable person to be around or associate with, Ronald.
@@bassettmike1 Are you policing for Black Forrest or what?? Or are you perhaps an employee. I never said anything about the quality of their work.
I was really surprised when i saw that, also should have used gold screws on the wheels, just makes it look cheap otherwise. Surprising oversight considering the quality of the rest of the piece.
Unless the customer did not care.
Love the jointery you guys use on the hallow pillars so no glue squeeze out on the inside, you guys crush it as always!! Grats on the client!!
The craftsmanship and workmanship that you folks demonstrate is incredible. Kudos.
Thanks so much Thomas
Wow! How awesome to have this level of recognition ! Stunning pieces.
Thank you so much Karen!
Very cool, so great to see you making a product that didn't allow for failure of your joints, any joint is a bummer to see fail.
Great job!!! It's always a pleasure to watch craftsmen making difficult tasks look simple. It's always a joy to watch you and your team at work. Thanks for inspiring all of us watching with your skills. Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you so much John! We will!
Blackened screws would be the final refinement for such beautiful work. Those silver ones standout and not in a good way.
Y'all's quality of workmanship along with materials is always beautiful and to the guys involved with the construction of your pieces well I don't think it can be done any better
@ 3:50 why did they use all ! Epoxy to glue that one together after you just said all epoxy glue joint was bad did the guys mess up??
Yep. That's all epoxy.
Yeah having _just_ said wood glue on the wood sections and epoxy on the epoxy sections... 🙄
More working time with the epoxy. Don't have to rush getting the clamps on.
worked on a bunch of museum displays for a Saudi prince many years ago they were some really intricate detail oriented expensive! displays and they were BIG! & they had to be perfect one of the more interesting things i ever worked on over the years. These are really nice looking functional stands, much more involved in making them that you would think just looking at them, a lot into a small package for sure. Really nice pieces.
These are absolutely beautiful. Another project to be super super proud of. Wow!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful functional pieces, bravo!!
Just beautiful workmanship...thanks
Thank you so much!
Very well done guys! Beautiful job!
Those are so clean. Great job!
Wow I didn't even realize you guys can do so complicated designs but it makes sense! You guys just rock! :)
We can build just about anything people ask us to!
That is pretty amazing your work is recognized by actual royalty on the other side of the world! Well done!
Agreed!!
I am confused. You said you would use epoxy on the epoxy and wood glue on wood but when they glued up the 2 halves with the angle they used epoxy for th entire thing.
It probably doesn’t matter with that small of a glue up
@@midwestengimaker8443 i think it would matter more as it will dry out faster and the fact its not a flat joint so it can have more load put on it if someone leans on one half could be wrong but that's mho
@stlwoodworking i was wondering the same thing
Qurans are heavy. Don’t know if you’ve held the actual book or not (especially one of the royal family which is made of leather and is decorated) but they can weigh up to around 30 or more pounds. That book rest at the bottom is unsupported, so its best that the glue be epoxy on epoxy and glue on wood. The corner bevel will BE supported however by the standing podium that sits on the floor itself and take most of the weight off that corner, so it wont matter if they use epoxy or glue there. Which the book open the weight will be evenly distributed and wont put strain on that corner so it wont give in the slightest, Quarns ive seen in house holds tend to be open to scriptures so that glue up wont be an issue. Hope this explanation helps.
@@JVHorvath1 The question was not if it would work or not but the fact that he said they were doing one thing and then did the opposite. I was asking for clarification.
Stunning work. Little wonder your client has returned to your shop. Amazing attention to detail and execution.
Nice job!!! Those are really good looking and I know they will be appreciated by anyone using them. I like the color that your finish gives to the Walnut, very warm!!
Thank you so much!
It's amazing. Talented craftsmanship.....Good luck in your future venture
Great Work, very nicely finished off, but I think you have used a mitre locking joint on the pillar construction , So the pillar looked like one solid piece of wood, and colour grained matched as well, overall looks great,
Good to see the Saw Stop. Safety first. Great work guys.
That's a whale of a client. That's an honor. That's cool as hell. You guys do beautiful work.
Spectacular Dylan! Blessings.
Thank you!
Wow your craftsmanship is just amazing. Love how you guys pay attention to detail.
Thank you so much 😀
Wow. So much care went into every step.
Perfection ❤.. It is so wonderful to see such purity thought and skill in this work.
Many thanks 🙏
So nice of you, thank you!
Perfection! Cudos to Jack for his work on these. BFWC International, has a nice ring to it. Thank you for sharing, cheers,Michael.
Thanks Michael! Yup, Jack absolutely killed these! Thanks for watching!
I suppse that the cliend provided an inicial blueprint of what he wanted. It was beautifully done !!!❤
Beautiful guys, gives me a few ideas for plan/tablet holders. Congratulations on being recognized by a nation state, hope it leads to further success
You found the perfect style for these videos. Excellence.
I used columns like this a few years ago for a project but they did not come out looking anywhere as nice that CNC is a sweet tool.
Another awesome build by a great bunch of talented craftsmen. Well done.
I think some gold streaks between the wood and resin would also look nice 🤩 Beautiful!
Incredibly beautiful. Top quality.
Love the finishing. Marvellous job.
Thank you so much 😀
Amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! We will!
Pro tip from one woodworker to another. Acetone will curdle the glue on the excess squeeze and then a quick blast of air will take it out and dry it plus it won’t mess with your finishes or stain. I use it for my wood doors. I love the work you do and I love the videos
Beautiful work!
Nice to see your post. Master craftsman at work 👍👍
Great work and craftsmanship.
Thanks for sharing you superb craftsmanship ❤
Thanks Maddie ❤!
Gorgeous pieces! One absolute certainty is the high level of craftsmanship you guys put into your product. Nicely done. I am curious to know how you guys decided on height compensation for the adjustment. What if the reader is six feet, or taller?
These came out to be beautiful. Great attention to detail as always!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful work as always
Those are beautiful pieces. It’s great that you are now recognized world wide (although you probably already make things for outside Canada. Congrats.
Thanks Jeff!
That was some intricate work. Hats off!
The camera eye shows more perfection than the naked eye. Looks perfect in 4k!!
Stunning craftsmanship
They are beautiful and will make any book put on there look even better. Love watching your longer videos. ❤️
Thank you so much Debbie!
It's not about how the books looks
It's about what inside the book
Maybe you think Quran doesn't look good
But if you tried to read it you will see why 2 billion people follow that *one* book
And why it's fastest growing religion while media trying to put it (that book) down, and they feiled 😂 to do so...
I loved the outcome of the product, and especially why it is made in such model makes it even more desirable for myself, simply you guys nailed it ✌🏻
So beautiful. Well done 👏
Thank you! 😊
Y’all are terrific craftsmen.
The level of craftsmanship is outstanding 👏
Your future is very bright ,you are a lucky young fellow because you are going to get massive growth .
Fantastic workmanship!
Really cool build!
Thank you! 😁
Very nice work!
This is so beautiful! To have that in any home would be chef's kiss.
Beautiful craftsmanship. Well done
Thank you so much 😀
Wow, they came out amazing!
Thank you so much!
I would absolutely love to work in a shop environment like that. Holy moly the tools!!!
Perfection, typical of your teams quality of work.
Beautiful work fellas, well done :-)
Fantastic craftsmanship ❤
Amazing work of art.🎉🎉
Excellent - has given me some ideas for a local church job. Thank you.
Glad to help!
Brilliant workmanship ❤
That is so clean..😊
Our Al Thani brothers ordering stands from Calgary 😂 that’s amazing..
Amazing touch brother beautiful job
Thank you so much 😀
Brilliant. Wonderful design and construction.
Thank you so much!
What an amazing product. You are a good craftman.
Thank you so much!
looked like the final cuts and drill seats were not oiled before assembly. The edges of the seat for the book to can and will wick up moisture due to that. Beautiful finished product!
Just showed up in my feed. Congrats on getting the work. Using your video to show my guys some really dangerous tool habits they should avoid. Been doing this longer than the guy in the pics has been alive and still have all my fingers intact because I know that things happen fast and plan for it. Use work holders!!!
Question- how does this epoxy stuff look a few decades down the road? I have stuff out there from the early 80's that moved a lot but still looks good. Seems that the movement from your shop in the US to a desert environment would be difficult for the materials to deal with. Thanks
I would LOVE to work in a shop environment like that. Holly molly the tools!!!!
Perfect job, thank you so much for great video
Thank you for watching!
Looks stunning
How does the math work out. 4 stands 4 casters each that's 16. How does 3 go into 16.
lol, just wanted to post the same thing :D
They would buy 6 packets and have 2 left over !
5 1/2 times😂😂😂
You have to do Canadian metric math, then it works out. 👍
They are absolutely epic. Well done once again….
Thank you so much!
They look great!
Nice design. Very functional. Nice job.
Thanks so much!
Nice stands! This might be my new music stand for my collection of guitar song books. I might even learn to play something! Great video too.
We could definitely build you custom music stands! Thanks Ted
You are a real master ❤ this is a master piece .
I've been admiring BFWC for a couple of years now and was wondering? Do you go through employees regularly? I have enjoyed watching each employee make their make on a piece of BFWC artwork and then they are gone? I hope they take their experience from BFWC and expand their world. Obviously the Prince of Qatar admires your work since he is a repeat customer. I still hope to attend one of your classes in the future. Stay safe.
We've had mostly the same crew of guys for a few years now, but every once in awhile someone moves or changes career fields
Absolutely beautiful work!
Thank you so much 😀
this was really amazing to see
That's fn awesome, I can't even believe how yall think up that stuff, much less doing it, great job guys!.
Thank you so much David!
