Thank you for such a lovely pattern! It looks amazing. But... I tried making three eggs by this pattern and all three of them turned out wrong. You've switched the amount of dark pieces and cream ones in your description under the video. So every time I made an egg, there would be lots of dark pieces left and not enough light ones to keep building the egg. Please change the information in your description; it's 200 dark pieces and 238 cream ones. Not the other way around. Best wishes and thanks again for such great tutorials!
You are absolutely right on this. There's also a way to make these numbers more evenly distributed by making the last layer with dark pieces. Then you'll need 224 cream ones and 214 brown ones. Importantly, this way you'll need only 7 sheets of paper for each colour ;)
your pieces are very symmetrical. When I follow your instructions I do not get the same shape. Can you post measurements of your paper and what it takes to achieve that perfect round shape... Thanks... Marin
