My son runs a Men's clinic and he does tests on everyone and what he found was low DHEA and Vitamin D and he has patients tested when fasting. I went in and my T was 120 and other hormones were low. He had me inject testosterone subcutaneously in my stomach fat. Plus he had get on DHEA and 5,000 IUs of vitamin D daily as I was very low on D. I felt better in under a week and lost about 2 pounds a week. I felt well enough I started to go back to the gym.
Testosterone replacement therapy has been a life saver for me. I started injections in my early 30s and never looked back. Thank God there are docs out there willing to prescribe it that understand that having a high testosterone level is a good thing. There's no good reason not to have the testosterone levels of a 20 year old and stay in shape the rest of ones life. Having a high testosterone level is the only way to live life.
Agree......I stated TRT in my 40's and it's a games changer ....I mostly usually agree with the doctor but he is trying to downplay testosterone's effectiveness....it effects every aspect of a men's life in a positive way....from energy...sex drive/performance....to thinking....mood...etc...don't understand why TRT is not made available to more men over a certain age....it's what makes a man a man, maybe that's the problem, in today's society......woman have easier access to testosterone then men, go figure ...all she would have to do is say she wants to become a man and she would have all the testosterone she would like ....I know of a few woman doing just that and they have no problem get high amounts of testosterone per month.....sad but true
Great videos Doctor! You're my go-to guy before I check out the rest. ...always very informative and straight to the point, without fluff and nonsense. My two cents: I used to ingest soy products practically every day. My testosterone levels were in the low 200s. I stopped all soy products in addition to all foods that promoted estrogen production. I took some natural supplements to lower estrogen, not testosterone supplements since testosterone can convert to estrogen due to fatty tissue and other factors. 4-6 months later, my testosterone levels went back to normal. I rarely use soy now. I read soy is healthy in Japan since there are no GMOs and it's not the same soy sold in the US. ...just my experience.
We know that the body needs cholesterol to produce testosterone. Is it possible that this low-T chronic problem is caused by the over prescription of cholesterol lowering drugs, particularly statins?
Good video. My only criticism is what if anything other than testosterone injections can a person do to help alleviate or maybe improve upon symptoms. i.e diet, foods, supplements, exercise, etc.
Dear Dr. My name is Moses I am a 21 yrs old and am an obese male and I recently had a blood work panel for testosterone, thyroid function, prolactin, prostate specific antigen, luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and free testosterone. My total Testosterone Level is at 181 ng/dl. I am experiancing symptoms of e.d, tiredness, and mostly weakness and loss of libidio . I also have High levels of prolactin, low levels of Luteinizing hormone, low levels of follicle-stimulating hormone, Low levels of free testosterone. I am concerned, I happen to come across your channel and i had a few questions in regards to my situation, as I have researched my level of testosterone is low; but I have also Researched that in obese males the levels can be different due to aromatase converting testosterone into estradiol. I don’t know if this is true and if so how much would losing weight contribute to having back a normal level of testosterone? I would appreciate if you can read this message and thank you in advance.
Very interesting. I was diagnosed with no testosterone, but I'm a60 year old female. Pretty sure I have nothing to wry about. Thank you Sir!! I love your videos!
That's not necessarily true. Androgens in women are important for maintaining muscle mass and bone density. I wouldn't write off having zero testosterone as unimportant. If it were me, I'd research and talk with my doctor. (I happen to take DHEA to help my Lupus, muscle mass, cognition and mood. It has been very noticible every time I've gone off it and back on the past 20 years.)
I was like 23 when I had my testosterone levels like at 170. One Doctor told me that if I can get an erection, im fine. Is that correct? Because I have bad anxiety and mental problems.
Can you stop injections cold turkey? I’ve read & heard different opinions. I had a friend that took T injections weekly for over 3 years & decided to quit cold turkey. He suffered no noticeable side effects & can not tell a difference being off the injections.

Can you do video on the use of aromatase inhibitors in men. Alone or in conjunction with testosterone.
Holy... I was just thinking why my levels of T are low and so is my libido. And here you come with a new video doctor. Thanks!
