I'm happy with the DM3, but there's a bit of a learning curve.... also not sure if it is the mixer, the usb cable, or my computer, but it takes a bit for it to be recognized as a device when I plug in the usb. (It could be my laptop though). Still getting used to learning how to route inputs and outputs.
@MoralRichMedia Thanks for the reply! Im very interested in getting one of these but ive seen that they are on backorder but it may be worth the wait. Do you notice a difference in the sound quality from the Behringer to the DM3? I don't have as much live production time on it as the guy in the video, but the audio that I have recorded on it sounded clean. As far as comparisons to my Behringer...I don't have any head to head examples...(my Behringer currently has a power supply malfunction, so I only use it for local sound playback and no recording.) My apologies for the lack of knowledge... first time on a digital mixer...hence the Behringer mixer in the video...lol... Thanks for watching though....
@@MoralRichMedia a minute after I posted that, I figured it out so deleted it. On the output page, I saw usb 1 and 2 lit up so I routed each to its own channel and panned it L and R. Now I need to figure out how to set it up on my DAW for multitracking. Have you tried that out yet?
Hello, I have not yet. I'll be spending most of my time interfacing the DM3 the Wirecast software for live production. :) Will post some video of me set up once I get it going.
Is that fan gonna be running all the time making noise? i hope not, imagine hot summer days trying to keep these units cool.
