Good to see you back. Yeah I no back ache, I use a hot water bottle when sat on sofa or arm chair, also heat pads for out and about, tens machine, acupuncture, high speed shower head on hot water and if can a jacuzzi, plus swimming if able, but really just keep it moving, get wife to wear gloves for deep heat, hope these suggestions help but it will pass 👍 😉 😀 all the best for you xx

Hey Jason! I have a pinched sciatic nerve as well. Besides chiropractic care, the next best thing is a tens unit. It sends electric pulses through your muscles. In the US, they're about $40 -$50 for a decent one at any pharmacy. They do get up there in price. The trick is finding out which muscle is pulling your back down, in order to place the electrodes and then going through the different frequencies and intensity that works best! I wouldn't be able to walk some days without it!

Jason, I had a pinched nerve also. After going to physical therapy for 2 months with it not getting better the therapist suggested a traction pillow. I got one on Amazon and it was the only thing that helped me. Now when I feel any discomfort coming on I wear the traction pillow and it takes care of it right away

Thank you for continuing to do these coin pusher videos for us. They are actually relaxing to listen to you and watch the coins slowly fall off, into your pocket 😁👍.
I've been living with a crushed disk in my lower back for about seven years now and I was told I don't have sciatica. I got a second evaluation and, I certainly do have sciatica. My therapist put me on an inversion table and I have to say, "WHAT A RELIEF"!! I'm not a doctor but I would recommend trying this. Hopefully it releaves your pain 👍❤️.

I have Sciatic nerve damage and stretching is the only thing that helps. Laying on the floor with your knees up or put your legs up on a chair with the back of your knees up against the edge of the seat of the chair. This takes the pressure off the sciatic nerve. When you get up from a laying position always roll over onto your side put your legs over the side of the bed and push your upper body with your arms to a sitting position. Hopefully I have explained this so you can understand it.

Sending prayers and energy to you. Great game for the amount of pain you're experiencing. When I had my pinched nerve in my neck my chiropractor said heat to relax it followed by ice to reduce the inflammation. So I did hot tub for 20-30 minutes followed by ice packs for 20 minutes 2x daily and ice packs in between. May be helpful. Hope you feel better soon.

Prayers for you Jason. You have some good ideas in the comments. I ran three Industrial Medicine clinics. I can offer a suggestion as a preventative for sciatic nerve pain avoidance. Men are more prone to getting it. If you wear a wallet in your back pocket, stop! Get a money clip and carry your wallet in your front pocket. The wallet presses on the sciatic nerve and will cause these episodes. A tens unit can help. I suggest alternating heat packs and cold packs in the area. Massage is good then apply the heat/cold packs at alternate times and then go to the cold packs. Rest and in a few days may relieve the pain. Good luck and excellent game!

Hi Jase. Tell your wife to get some food preparation gloves from Aldi. They aren't expensive and if she wears one when applying deep heat or Voltaren it won't affect her skin. You can remove them from the wrist peeling them over your hand and not ever have to touch the ointment. I use them as I hate Voltaren on my hands. Also get a wheat bag to heat in the microwave and apply that to your back. 👍😎

Awesome game mate. When my sciatica goes out, I use cbd cream on it. Some places sell in stick form so your wife wouldn't have to worry about her hands. The cream will probably help her hands. It has healed so many things. The one I have has bees wax, and melon in it. It's not going to cause any heart problems. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️.

Find anything you can for back stretches, a heating pad, have your wife put rubber gloves on for the creams, see if your doctor has a stronger cream you can use! I think there's some kind of possible yoga stretches that might help with un-pinching! Wish you well! Sometimes it just take a while to get those to release!

Pinched nerves are the worst. I had about a month off work back in 2014 with sciatica (pain was middle of bum cheek travelling down my leg) I basically woke up with it one day and couldn't move an inch...had to call an ambulance out to be able to move me and get me into hospital to get pain relief. Then in 2019 i had a pinched nerve in my neck. That was insanely painful just below my right shoulderblade. The only way i could sleep at night was to sit bolt upright with my neck almost at 90 degrees. It was crazy. My right hand was also painful from the trapped nerve and still a bit numb until this day. So hoping you have a speedy recovery. In relation to the video, i've always wondered what is each token worth in $?

I use several different things to help with sciatic nerve pain. I use a heating pad to lay on which helps with the pain. I also use back patches with Lidocaine. Your wife can put those on you without getting any of the Lidocaine on her hands. I also take Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen pain killers for my back.
I was also prescribed an e-stim machine (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) to help with the nerve problem. It’s a little battery operated device about the size of a Watt/Ohm meter, and it uses small electrodes to stimulate and relax the muscles around the nerve. When muscles are really tight they compress the nerve. Relaxing the muscles helps reduce the pain. I’ve been using mine for a few years and I love it. It definitely works.

I suffer from the same thing, yoga stretching fixes this, you lie on your side and slowly bring your knee to your chest, this stretches the back muscles, hold for the count of ten, then do the same to the other side then lie flat on the floor and allow the muscles to relax, that fixes the nerve but does not fix the swelling around the nerve that takes time

For lower back pain, that goes down the butt cheek and into the leg. Its not healing, but helps with pain. Take a tennis ball and place it in the mussel just below the knee on the back side on painful cheek side. Take a scarf or light weight towel and tie the tennis ball in place. Will need to be adjusted often but helps with the nerve pain. If you make a fist with your hand you place on the fatty part below you knee and press you should be able to feel a pain difference.

I hope you are feeling better. I don't know if you have chiropractor Dr's there but that was the only relief my ex got with sciatic nerve pain. And biofreeze roll on gel.. Get well soon❤

I have an idea for your Mrs. Squeeze the ointment out onto your back and then use a sponge or brush to spread it around. Maybe this will help, I hope. Good luck and we'll be praying for you!!!! God Bless!!!!!

So sorry, when your back hurts your whole body hurts. I have messed up my back so bad I couldn't lift my legs high enough to get in shower or carry more than 2 cans of veggies without it hurting my back. My Dr adjusted my back and had me take ibuprofen 800 mg. every 4 hours for a couple of days for the inflammation and muscle spasms. Not a pain med but it helps to relax it enough you get a little more sleep you would need to check with your heart Dr. first. I take no pain meds they don't work for me.

I use an inversion table when I have problems.
    Really works
