Hola Kristy! 👋 I have the Opal and Starry Night Palette and they're awesome to use. If you have the Kuretake Graphite Colors or the Boku Undo set, use the Opal colore wet onto wet and you'll see some beautiful magic happen!

For me I think that Skrim and Iuile both have better gold paints, and for a more affordable gold option I really like the SOHO Urban Artist palette (the gold does come in the smaller palette too!) Another option if you only want gold is the Kuretake Pearl Calligraphy Liquid Gold which is my overall favorite gold for wet media! Linked here: amzn.to/4a1X0uH

I'm shocked at the colors that came through from the opal paints on the black paper, WOW! Very nice set of paints.
Those Opal colors are a game changer!!!
The sheen is something unique to Gansai, since they are not typical watercolors they do behave a bit different.
I always forget they do that! I really enjoyed these paints!

i didnt know they had a big set like that. dont need anymore shiny paint, but when i do i will try to see how cheap i can get these 😝
