Fly Rides USA definitely a bummer they left but I’ve been in the cycling industry for awhile. Sometimes they end up coming back. Still some solid US bikes too.
Rob, of course I like watching your videos, but I would have liked to see a little bit more detail about this bike as you unboxed it. Try zooming in on some key elements of the bike. It was interesting to see the packaging method, but I would rather you focus on the Focus a little more. I really wanted to see what that sticker said that you took off and threw away :-(
@@RobRidesEMTB Cool, just to give you a chance to criticize me, this is my 1st and only unboxing video I ever did: th-cam.com/video/VD01UjV5bRs/w-d-xo.html When I did it, I was sort of laughing to myself about how so many TH-camrs make these videos and thought it was silly that I did it for a pair of shoes, but in reality these videos have value because it gives viewers and consumers a great opportunity to see 1st hand what to expect if they buy a product. For a big purchase like a bike this is very valuable.
Hey Rob Rides Emtb! That's a smooth lookin' bike! Bosch has to come up with a display mount that is more protected than that! Do they think nobody crashes on an Emtb? Ride ride ride!

I've been riding it at my dealer. Quit decent Bosch. High frequent but not loud! Perfect switch off above speedlimit. But quite heavy. Is it your Testbike for the next months ?
Looks pretty good for the coin Rob . Yes, good pedals do make a difference , i replaced the original smallish cheap ones fitted to my 29 er some time ago , i had no intentions of spending much on replacements , but having a porky size 14 feet , i spent the bucks and went with some aftermarket pedals from the brand "Giant" rated for downhill , nice quality sort of wide and low profile rebuildable with spikes (dont like the clippy things ...fall on my ass :) ) and , omg $ 110 bucks Australian ......... and so worth it .
Not a fan of unbox vids - AHA - my wife is still running here plastic stock pedals on her Levo and she’s going to use mine when they trash!! Are you a Focus Employee ?? Or is it their version of the ride to work work to ride scheme? Best bit last 1500 squids!!
Do love focus just not seen any good vids about the new bosch. Everyone says its noisy. And then theres the cant be hacked, and that forced on you screen.

i think that the charger rubber lid does not close good enough to prevent water getting in when washing the bike

Does look a good bike, would of loved to of seen 140 mm of travel though.
I wish the US had a bigger direct to consumer EMTB market. About my only option is motobecane :/
