Love that Chris fully committed with the blonde wig as well.

Love the commitment you made, flaws and all, to demanding that Mother Nature will not slow your creative endeavors. Yes inner lining all stretch fabrics if you want them to act like a woven is a must. But you still made it look great. and Kudos to hubby for not only wearing a costume, but a wig too! Hopefully all other hurricanes will detour around your area in the future. Oh BTW, I have two hand crank mini (child's) sewing machines that I take when i camp (Ren Faire or SCA) so I can continue to sew or repair on the spot with no electricity. they are only 2lbs and would fit in a shoebox. If you need help shopping for one of them let me know. I have my sources!

What a great idea! I never thought of a hand crank mini sewing machine!

@@PocketFullofPoseys Here is one I'm watching on an auction. It has it's case, which is good. You need to understand Chain Stitch because these machines do not have a bobbin, they are entirely chain stitching. www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/107674942

Pro-tip from a lazy adhd person: you can always cheat with spray starch, especially on rarely worn costumes. 😇
