I learned something new today. I have had the same bun when I was in Taiwan and I never knew that it was cooked in a "Tandoor" or a "Tabun" type of oven. I have only seen this oven and cooking method when I was travelling in India, Turkey , Israel and Iran. I have also seen it here in Toronto at Indian and Middle Eastern restaurants. I never would have imagined ever seeing this in Taiwan. I will definitely be more curious the next time I visit Taiwan.
