- Hook City and I decided to try a little creek hidden on the north end of a lake we NEVER fish! Once we located this fallen tree.... it was game on! Watch as we fight these spawning crappie out of the thick stuff. This is Spring 2024 at its finest!

I want a stiff rod when fishing cover that thick. I need to bring them right out before they get wrapped around something. Your at a disadvantage with a limber rod. Good to see you and dad back on the lake.
Acc crappie stix are medium action rods. At 13ft I don't think I want a heavy action rod to hold away from my body. Thanks for watching man!
