I still don't get the Zach Edey hate. He is no franchise cornerstone, but it is clear he will be a solid pro. So, people please don't get surprised when he has a good rookie season.
@@Cmez872 the problem with GMs is scoring and defense, they believe the NCAA does not develop anymore good defenders with kids focused on scoring and iso. So they search for foreign players who play in pro leagues with adults since 3 to 4 years to get defensive players. Wemby is a generational gem, Sarr won't be the same, Edey won't be the same, you can't have both, it's either you're a good shooter or a good defender. edey can be a rim protector for sure, and he should be hired in the top 20 that way, not top 10 cos' there are too much good players from overseas countries there, like Topic, Salaun, Sarr, Risacher, Buzelis. But hey, it's an awesome achievment to be in the top 20, look at the all rookie 2nd team this year: Keyonte George drafted 16th ! Dereck Lively 12th ! GG Jackson was even 45th !!!
Why didn't you talk about Bronny James getting crushed by NBA scouts? Two NBA scouts stated that he isn't ready for the NBA and they wouldn't recommend drafting him. The scouts stayed that Bronny James is a Tweener stuck between two positions should be a point guard but can't run a offense. He's handicapped as an undersized shooting guard because he can't shoot. Bronny needs screens to create space and can only go left. If the Lakers don't draft Bronny they don't see any other teams drafting him based on his current skill set, other than wanting Lebron James.
It’s a weak draft maybe the worst since the 2000 draft. There will be busts and washouts. Bronny wouldn’t be the first or last player not ready for the league. The question is, what is his potential?
Seriously, he should focus on anything else than a pro athlete career: do you really think it's only his skills that scouts sees ? they see his genetic heart defect first and foremost.
I'ma be honest I've seen scouts say shit like this about players that turned great. I'm not gone sit here and judge Bronny based off no scouts. Scouts be wrong as hell about people all the time
Could've just put an actual loser in the combine in the thumbnail instead of Bronny but you had to go for the low hanging fruit. That's one strike bro.
These 19 year old one and doners are still growing. Kevin Durant was 6'9 and failed his bench press test when he came out. Then he grew to 6'11 and one of the best shooters of all time. Usually being in college more than one year is a strength. Such as Steph Curry in college for 4 years.
Well, we see more top talents, because from this year on combine is mandatory, invitees have to show up on time unless you have a very good reason to reschedule. If not because of this new rule, there is no freaking way Bronny entering the combine, his stock became worse when he measured at 6'1", sure it's without shoes, but that's not the point, the point is it is a lesser number than his competitors and what's a standard in NBA, for a scorer 6'1" might not be that bad but Bronny's mold is supposed to be a defense first combo guard, you think about from Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso to Davion Mitchell, that height really hurts, and pretty much killed his chance to draft as a player other than Lebron's son, whatshisname that kid Anthony Carter's son, is so much better in every aspect physically and play the exact same way, why would people choose Bronny over him?
Truth is that Bronny should stay a few more years in college and work on his shortcomings. He needs a lot more reps and it won’t happen with whatever team picks him. If he is picked at all. He has no business being at the combine other than his last name. Even Davion required a few years to become a decent draft prospect and he is a real dog on defense. I don’t think he will ever be able to even match Davion, who’s currently the 3rd string point guard on a small Kings team. Maybe after another 3 years of college he might be ready but he’s nowhere near ready right now.
@@Khaab00 You're right, he should stay in college. Not to play ball, but to get a degree and get a job at Clutch Sports. NBA is grown ass men. And that's where it's at. That being said, Bronny needs security when he is playing. He literally needs a Charles Oakley at his side at all times. He'll be in the G-League and only get on an NBA court so Bron can play with him couple games. People are delusional thinking Bronny belongs in the NBA. There is no indication whatsoever he has the talent. Imagine being the kid of a top3 All time NBA star who has been thrown all assets at you all your life so you make it to the NBA. And not only are you too small, but you cant compensate for it all AND you almost die on court because of a congenital heart defect. It is insane.

Nikola Djurisic will be the best player to come out of this draft!!!
Id say Sheppard was a winner. Everyone knew he had a 6'3 wingspan before. That 42 in vert was a nice boost. He can be a more athletic Curry.
Kyrie ain’t 195 pound I thought he was 185-190 people really lie about the height and weight rob 164 I tought he was 178 in college
Your clickbait off bronny is pathetic bro
Bronny has a 6'7 wingspan. Insane. That could be a huge bonus to future defensive play.
I've never seen someone add on 3.5 inches. Scotty Pippen added 3 inches last year. I think the most common height addition is 1-1.5 inches.
