Diseño y desarrollo del proyecto SEAT Ibiza (1984). En 1984, el SEAT Ibiza fue "el fruto de una nueva etapa en la historia de SEAT". Este vídeo nos abre las puertas del Centro Técnico de SEAT en Martorell durante la fase de planificación del proyecto, en la que SEAT tenía tres opciones: "Desarrollar su propia tecnología, fabricar bajo licencia o trabajar en estrecha colaboración con los mejores expertos y especialistas en su sector". Se optó por esta última, la cooperación con firmas de renombre: Giugiaro (diseño), Porsche (motores) y Karmann (desarrollo proyecto carrocería). El vídeo también muestra la construcción de los prototipos del Ibiza y las exhaustivas fases de ensayos y puesta a punto de los mismos en los entornos más exigentes, las pistas de pruebas, el desierto y la nieve. El Ibiza de serie fue la prueba palpable de que SEAT había sabido estar a la altura del reto.

This video opens the doors of the SEAT Technical Center in Martorell during the project planning phase, in which SEAT had three options: "Develop your own technology, manufacture under license or work closely with the best experts and specialists in your sector. " The latter was chosen, in cooperation with renowned firms: Giugiaro (design), Porsche (engines) and Karmann (body project development). The video also shows the construction of the Ibiza prototypes and the exhaustive testing and tuning phases of the same in the most demanding environments, test tracks, desert and snow. The serial Ibiza was the tangible proof that SEAT had managed to rise to the challenge.

Tuve un Ibiza motor sistem porche 1.2 modelo junior del año 88 me salió muy bueno lo tuve hasta el año 2000 era el tres puertas. Fue un compañero fiel .
